A new friend?! (Kels pov)

My space boy alarm goes off, wake up, Kesey! I rush out of bed, every day lately has been awsome! I brush my teeth with my spaceboy toothbrush, grab my basketball, and rush outside, it's like I do this everyday! Henry, my brother, comes out after me. He's 13. He's not much of a sports person, but he tries when he can. I shoot the ball in the hoop, and miss. I'm
Not that good yet. I've only been playing about a month, but I'm getting there! I know im gonna be big someday! I rush to where the ball is and grab it, when I notice a grey van pull up in the new bought house. Is this our new neighbours? Perhaps a new friend my age?

I wait for them to get out of the car, and a strange looking boy hops out. He has black hair, holding a blue book, and some bags.. he looks my age, too! When a older girl hops out, probably same age as Henry, he can't get his eyes of her! I mean, cmon! You don't even know her yet! I give him a slight nudge, and tease him about it. Apparently I'm "seeing things", but I'm ten, I'm a big boy now! I can sense those feelings.
Henry goes to say hi, so I follow, of coarse. The strange boys name is sunny, but he doesn't like anyone but family in his room.. so I get the brightest idea!
"Eureka!" I shout, running to his backyard. I hear them giggling, but that dosent mattterr!! As I reach the room I saw him entering, I pick up a few tiny rocks and throw them at his window.
Clink!
Nothing. So I chuck another one:
Clink!
Still nothing. There's no going back now, Kelsey!
Click!
Sunny angrily opens the window, finally!
"Alright, who's there?!" Sunny shouts.
"Heeyyyy!! Im Kelsey, your sunny, right?"
"..yeah."
"Wanna play?"
He is hesitant. He takes a few moments to decide, finally, he agrees. I let out a goofy smile and say I'll be waiting for him! I run off to his porch, and play with whatever sticks and dirt there is for me to play with. A few minutes of waiting, he comes out!

*here is what happend in the last chapter and I don't wanna go over it again. So just remember this part from last chapter.*

Sunny looks up at the slightly darkened sky.
"I should get home."
"Yeahhh, me to. Mom would be soooo angry if I was out later!! Cmon, I'll walk you home!"
As we are walking back to his house, I stick my tongue in my missing-tooth-hole, it feels silly. Sunny keeps looking at me, and looking away when I look back. Weeiirddd. He's still super super duper cool!!
"Bye sunnyyy!! See ya tomorrow!"
"Bye." He says. And we walk into our separate homes. Henry was on the couch, day dreaming. I sit next to him.
"So, you meet ya new girllfrienddd?"
"What? No.. Mari is just.. cool!"
I sigh. "That's what they all say, Henry."

Mama made spaghetti that night! Henry didn't talk much, but everyone was proud of me for making my first-faraway-friend! My FFF!! I gobble up my food, and mama let's me go get ready for bed. I feed my pet bug, sally, some worms, play mini basketball, and sadly, it's 8:00.. I gotta sleep now. I hop into my bed and cover myself with sheets, cuddle my space boy plush, a peacefully fall asleep. Tommorow is a new day with sunny! Yes!
