must it be sinful to love one like me
for I's chosen to be ignored by all I adored
and truly I know that a lover's not much of a need
but was to be alone am I truly living for?
oh dear I do not think so
for all I really want to know
what love must feel like
with his gaze locked on mine
as sun sinks into the sea
he draws himself closer to me
and to be asked where I have been
for all his life he's been waiting
such a delightful scene to imagine—
it is a dream I awaited to come into life
but who knows which the Heavens is choosing:
to let me suffer alone or to give who I liked?
