Chapter 26: Allergy

"But you won't sorry for making me mad jealous again?" It echoed to my ears, his words echoed. What is he saying? I slowly gaze up on him. He look stern as he look straight in to the walls. He smirk. "Bat ba ang manhid mo?" He added.

Manhid? Am I really? I sighed.

"Sorry na... Promise I'll do my best not to commit any mistakes again-" he shhs me and so I stopped and stay still. "What's that? Para uli kay Jeremy?" Napatingin ako sa dala dalang eco friendly bag at dahan dahang umiling. "No! It's for you... A peace offering."

"Tsked." Umirap pa ang loko. He cross his arms on his chest and he lean on the wall. "Sure? Baka kay Jeremy. Nakita ko lang, kaya akin na lang?" Hayst! The elevator then stopped and open. It revealed the group of girls if I can remember who mocked me.

Para namang hindi marunong mag make up to, mukha na silang clown sa kapal ng make up. Para pang rainbow. "Good morning sir..." Malanding usal ng babae bago pakipot na tumuloy at pumwesto sa tabi ni Eros. "Good morning." Bati naman ng isang to.

Pumasok na rin ang ilan at para pang mga bulate na binuhusan ng asin. Tsk. "Haliparot." I didn't know I voice it out. Natutop ko ang bibig at tumingin muli sa kanila, mukhang wala naman silang narinig. But the guy beside me chuckled heartedly. "Oh babe, don't worry I don't care about them." Halos ma laglag ang panga ko nang bigla ay hablutin n'ya ang bewang ko at nilapit pa sa kan'ya.

From my waist his hand went to my side, and to my stomach. I can feel him drawing circles on there. Napa iwas ako ng tingin rito at napa baling sa mga babaeng ngayon ay masama ang tingin sa akin. I raised a brow and smirk playfully. Huh, ano ha? Eros lean in and gave me head kiss. I stared at him and smile.

At tumunog ang elevator,

"Dito na kami Sir... M-ma'am." I just nodded. Eros smiled politely, "yeah sure." Tsk.

Nang maka alis ang mga babae ay agad din akong lumayo dito, babalik na naman s'ya sa kabulastugan n'ya? Ang lalaking to talaga. Kahit kailan.

"We're having our lunch together." It was not a question but a state. His voice is commanding. Parang nag uutos lang ng empleyado-well I am his employee. Tumango na lang ako. "I'm sorry for being a jerk, I'm just so jealous and you don't notice that." Tumunog muli ang elevator hudyat na nasa tamang palapag na kami. I step out of the elevator first before him.

I didn't know what to say, a part of me is guilty. But a part of me is confused. Hindi dahil sa kan'ya kung hindi dahil sa akin, bakit ba ang gulo ko rin kase? I'm so complicated that everyone would really throw hate on me. Siguro nga pati si Ate Ice eh. I sighed.

I felt his hard chest behind me, his chin on my shoulder. I can smell his expensive perfume. His hands on my waist. "I quite don't understand you sometimes..." Sabi na, maging ang tao sa paligid ko naguguluhan na din. Maging ako nga eh, hindi ko rin ma gets ang sarili ko. Paano pa kaya ang ibang tao?

"For the nth time, I want you to know and hear this." He made me face him, our face is inch away. I can smell his mint-flavoured breath. He held my face. "I'll be straight forward now, okay? I love... You."

How are they doing that? I mean paano? Love me? I couldn't even love myself...

"Kare kare yan, I hope you'd like it tho..." It's our lunch time and I'm inside Eros's office to eat our lunch together. Hindi ko alam kung guni guni ba yon o ano? But I saw his hesitant eyes as he look down the food. "You have to finish this Eros, I cooked it especially for you." He nodded.

"Okay okay I will, but ah... Can I ahm, go to the comfort room first?" I nodded. Tumayo naman ito at nag tungo na sa CR. While I started unpacking my food and eat. Eros immediately come back.

Kinuha ko ang kutsara n'ya at nag sandok ng kaonting ulam. Inangat ko ang kutsara at tinapat sa bunganga nya. He look at me confused, pero nakuha n'ya rin ang ibig sabihin at sumubo. He munch it carefully, but I saw his face started reddening until he couldn't stay still, panay tango at nguya. Niluwagan naman nito ang necktie n'ya.

It took me a while to realize what is happening, I immediately call for a help. He motion me it's okay but I still called for help. Binuksan ko ang dress shirt nito at inalis ang tie. He is struggling from breathing and I don't know what to do until the medics came. They assisted him while I was dumbfounded.

I held on his hand and stare at his handsome face. I'm really a damn trouble maker. Gosh! I didn't know he's allergic with nuts-if I have known I wouldn't cook him that kind of food!

I got alerted when he moved a bit and groaned. "E-eros-" I stood up when slowly he open his eyes completely. "H-hey..." I was in panic that I didn't know what should I do. Hindi ko alam kung tatawag ba ako sa clinic or kukuhanan s'ya ng tubig? But I felt him held my hand and called my name. Nilingon ko ito at nakita ang ngiti sa labi nito at namumungay na mata.

"Sorry you have to see that..." I harshly shook my head, it was really my fault. I should have known about it because I am his secretary. Nagka pantal pantal pa tuloy s'ya. "Don't worry, I'll go to our private doctor to have this check."

"S-sorry talaga... I should have known-"

"Nah, this is a secret. So better shut your pretty mouth alright?"

"Secret? What if times like this-"

He cut my words off by putting his finger on my lips to shhs me. "Hindi naman, that's okay alright? I'll go to my doctor, you don't worry and just do your work."

I was worried the whole day, then Ethan Hudson appeared in front of me. I was so shocked, he has no appointment with my boss and boss wasn't there at that time. Ethan Hudson has this intimidating aura, dark and yet nice attitude.

He talked to me about the lost of his girl, I just said what I know and that's it. Until now, my friend Jade is still nowhere to be found.

"If ever she calls you... Can you please give me feedback? U-uh here." May kinuha itong maliit na card sa bulsa at inabot sa akin. "This my personal calling card, uhm you can contact me here if ever she calls you alright?" Tumango na lang ako. I'm not even sure if she'll call. It has been months.

Later that day Eros cameback to work, he said he's okay and that he can still manage to finish what's on his sched. And he literally did, attended meetings with individual personals and fixed his paperworks.

Alas nuebe na ng gabi nang maka uwi ako, I was so tired that I didn't have time to even change. I fell asleep and woke up in the middle of the night, that's where I got a chance to clean up myself and then back to sleep again.
