Life before him was so mandane. No excitement, no thrill, no lust, no pleasure, no hurt.

My life before him was simple and uncomplicated, the most I had to worry about was my boyfriend Liam being a dick.

But now that has all changed. He has changed my life in a way that can't be undone and not all change is good. I may not have been totally happy without him, but god it was so much easier.

James Byrne has turned my life upside down, inside out and inverted it. He has done so much that can't be reversed.

And would I want it to be undone? Would I go back to how it was before, before the hurt, before the betrayal, before the lies? I guess that is a question I will never be able to answer.

Men like James Byrne are the type of men your mother warns you to stay away from, the Type of men that your father holds you closer to as you walk by them.

But how can one stay away from men like that when they become so good at hiding what they are really like, when their act becomes so believable that they themselves believe it.

How can someone become so blind to the obvious, not see what's right in front of them all along in plain sight.

They are right when they say that love blinds you. It really does. It blinds you to the danger you are in and when it is time to get out, but how can you get out after they have planted their roots so deep in you that you struggle to see what life would be like without them.

You wouldnt think that these types of things would happen in the small island of ireland, but you can not be fooled by what hides in plain sight

I, Lexi Kennedy, was not aware of the effect of letting the stranger sit down next to me on the train home from work . How should I know that the simple act would soon turn my world into my own personal hell and not even know it ?
