Ch. 1

                           Caitlin POV

It has been a few weeks since Barry woke up from his coma,

I look at the picture on my desk a photo of me, Ronnie and Charlie she was in between them with a big smile on her face,

I returned to the computer still running scans throughout the city for facial recognition.

"What you doing?" Cisco asked chewing on a twizzler 

"Scanning the city." I said as I typed on the computer keyboard 

"Charlie?" He asked 

I nodded 

"Whose Charlie?" Barry asked running in at super speed.

" she was.. I mean is Ronnie's little sister."Cisco said

"She was here while the explosion happened." I said 

I showed the picture to Barry. 

"What happened to her?" Barry asked 

"No one knows, She just vanished no evidence of her being killed but also know evidence of her anywhere near the explosion when we all knew she was here." Cisco explained 

"It's one of those strange mishaps unfortunately," Dr. Wells said as he rolled into the room. 

Barry looked at the picture again. 

                              Third Person POV 

                               9 months ago

Charlie was sitting on Caitlin's desk kicking her legs back and forth as Ronnie and Caitlin were talking, When all of a sudden there was a big boom that shook the entire facility, 

"Was that?" Cisco said 

"A big boom," Ronnie said 

"Charlie stay here," Ronnie said 

"But-" She began

"Stay here I promise I'll be back," He said 

Charlie hesitated but nodded Ronnie kissed her forehead and ran off, 

While no one was looking Charlie snuck off to check on Grodd 

Charlie was always playing with Grodd when she visited Star labs, always giving him snacks that he liked and putting her tiny hands through the bars to pet him. 

The shaking of the facility continued as Charlie ran to Grodds cage, 

Grodd was growling and grunting, 

"It's okay Grodd I'm scared too." Charlie said as she put her tiny hand on his. 

Suddenly a massive wave of destruction blew past them, knocking Charlie to the ground causing her to hit her head and fall unconscious, 

The last thing she could hear was Grodd's growling and the sound of metal being bent.

                                     Charlie POV

I sit with my back against the wall with my knees to my chest as I hug them, the sound of very big and very heavy steps echo through the tunnels, 

When suddenly a big Grodd appears, I stand up and smile. 

"You found me!" I said walking to him giving him a hug. 

He sits on his bottom hugging me with his big hand. 

"Grodd... Always.. find little one.." He said 

He hands me a banana, 

"You found food," I said excited 

"Grodd...Take... care of you.." Grodd said 

I unpeeled the banana taking a few bites. 

"You want some?" I asked showing him some of the banana. 

"Eat.." Grodd said 

I nodded finishing the banana, 

"Come little one..." Grodd said picking me up putting me on his back.
