And with a tearful goodbye, I declare this story completed. I cannot believe that a small scenario created for my tiktok, bloomed into this. It wasn't easy — diving deep into a meaningful plot while leaving the characters somewhat of a blank canvas so you could insert yourselves but I think I did a good job?
The premise of this story was always self love. It is so incredibly important and anyone who tells you otherwise, is full of sugar honey iced tea. Self love isn't roses and rainbows, it can be ugly. It can be tiring. But then somewhere along the line, something magical starts to happen and you believe all the good things about yourself. You're suddenly taking more time with your skincare routine or buying yourself the foods you like to eat or reading that book you swore you never had time for.
I don't know much about self love as I am on that journey myself but what I do know is, it's different for everyone. Just like how y/n's was about finding her colours.
