"what do you want for dinner tonight?" Asked Tara you heard your phone ring making you smile since you already knew who it was from a couple months ago you and Amber made it official Tara and the others were really supportive of you guys
"What do you have in mind?" You said pulling out your phone to text her back "pasta" said Tara pulling out some Pasta "yeah that sounds good" you said looking around realizing that you guys didn't have anything to drink
"We don't have anything to drink do we?" You said "no I don't think we do" said Tara filling the pot with water "shit I'll be right back then" you said walking towards the door "wait where are you going?" Said Tara turning on the stove "to grab something to drink for us" you said as Tara nods her head
"No I don't think it's necessary" she said grabbing the pasta and pouring it in the pot "yes it is come on I'll be back soon the store is not that far from here" you said "okay fine just come back safe okay?" Said Tara as you nodded "yeah I'll text you if anything happens" you said opening the door and walked out closing the door behind you
It was odd that Amber still hasn't texted you back yet you looked at your phone realizing that the store nearby was already close but there was another store twenty minutes away from you "it's going to take longer but Tara could wait" you said starting to walk enjoying the fresh air
"But for the mean time" you said grabbing your phone putting it on do not disturb mode and put on some music on full blast you didn't want to listen to cars moving past it you saw the store close by making you smile you speed walked the rest of the way since you really wanted to get there
You put your phone in your pocket and walked inside the store taking your time to look over the drinks "okay I'll grab this drink and I'll grab her this drink" you said grabbing your two drinks and making your way to the cashier luckily there was no one in line "is that all?" He asked as you nodded
"That will be ten dollars" he said as you gave him the money and grabbed your drinks as you walked out the store you got ready to walk a long way home but as you started to walk home you noticed that police cars and an ambulance were in a hurry to get somewhere peeping at anyone who got in their way
Thinking nothing of it you put on your earphones and your music as you walked home about ten minutes in you noticed the ambulance and police cars were close by your house "what the fuck" you whispered taking off your earphones as you kept walking that's when you saw that they stopped at your house
"Tara!" You yelled dropping the drinks as you ran over to the house as fast as possible but was soon stopped by some police officers "you can't go though" he said "I'm her sister please I need to know if she's okay" you said pushing the office out of your way as you went over to the ambulance were
"Tara" you said with tears in your eyes "do you know her?" Said the person taking care of her "I'm her sister" you said whipping your tears away "I'm sorry to say but she was stabbed multiple times and her ankle is broken she is bad shape we have to take her to the hospital as fast as possible you can come if you like" she said
"Yeah I do want to go" you said getting in the ambulance car Tara was passed out from all the blood she lost "I'm so sorry" you said grabbing her hand and with the other you grabbed your phone taking it off do not disturb mode only to find out Tara was trying to call you multiple times
You felt like a shitty sister you texted amber and wes on what happened and they got back to right away saying how sorry they were and it wasn't your fault but it was your fault you shouldn't have gone and left her alone and you shouldn't have put your phone on do not disturb mode
A few minutes passed and you guys were finally at the hospital you got out of the ambulance when they took Tara inside the hospital and put her in the bed "she will be awake soon" said the nurse as you nodded "okay" you said sitting down next to her grabbing her hand again you just felt guilty
The morning came sooner than you expected you couldn't sleep and you didn't go to school either you drank coffee after coffee trying to stay awake you couldn't sleep after what happened you were afraid something was going to happen if you close your eyes for just a minute
You had your head down when you heard Tara say your name "y/n?" She whispered as you jumped "Tara?" You said looking at her as she looked at you "I'm sorry" you said feeling your bottom lip wobble "no it wasn't your fault" she said with a small smile "yes it was" you said you were sick of hearing that
"I'm going to text Wes and amber that you're awake okay?" You said smiling as Tara sits up and nods "thank you for being here" she said as you held her hand tighter "I'll always be here for you" you said as you finish texting amber and wes they both texted you that they were on their way
"They're coming" you said "you don't look well" said Tara as you chuckle "don't worry about me" you said about seventeen minutes amber, Wes, Mindy and Chad were already at the door knocking on it as you open it "hey guys" you said smiling as you hugged all of them "how you guys feeling?" Asked wes coming inside
"Are you okay Tara?" Said Chad looking at Tara "I hope so" you said patting Tara's shoulder softly "yeah I am" said Tara smiling "and you?" Said Amber moving closer to you holding your hands with hers "I don't know" you said looking down
"Hey she's here now that's all that matters" said Amber gently grabbing your face and pressing her lips on yours making you smile as you kiss her back "uhm! Anyways I told sam about this she had the right to know so she will be here any minute" said wes as you pulled away from amber
"What the fuck" you said "Tara is also her sister y/n" said wes "sisters don't abandon each other" you said rolling your eyes at him as the door opens seeing Sam come on with a guy making you sigh and look away
