A/n I can't believe that the owl house is over now, it was such a great show. The last ep was amazing, I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't watched it yet but, just wow. (Also this chapter was supposed to be posted before the last ep came out but I got my days a bit mixed up sooo, oh well.)

We continue walking through the caves, it's quite silent for a moment but Eda decides to make fun of Hunter a bit more.

"You know, Luz told about a trip she and Y/N went on to Latissa where she met someone very interesting. A beat-up blond with no magical powers. She called him, and these are her words, "a bad but sad boy." Eda and King laugh at this.

Hunter's face turns noticeably pink with embarrassment. He knitted his brows in frustration. "If I ever see that human again-" "Watch it!" Amity interrupts him.

He looks back to Eda. "Well, at least I'm not delusional enough to think I can turn into a harpy." Eda sharply turns around and hisses at him. King, on Eda's shoulder, tries to calm the two down. "Hey. Come on. Give it a rest, you two."

"Yeah, listen to your rat." Enraged by this blasphemy, King lets out a war screech and jumps on Hunter, pulling at his hair. Amity walks past us, looking over across the wide-open room. She shhhs us. I pull King off of Hunter's hair and he sits on my shoulders. We hide behind some old machinery and look down at the group that has just entered the cave. Kikimora, a bunch of scouts and some Abominations. Great. Kikimora yells at the captain, saying something about throwing her off a cliff or something.

"Oh, that poor girl is going through something," Eda says.

"She's also blocking the path to Eclipse Lake." Amity pointed out looking at the map in her hands. She points at one of the doorways leading further into the veins of the Titan.

"We should create a distraction," Hunter suggests.

"We should create a distraction!" Eda says louder grabbing me by the arm and dragging me away. She turns back to Amity and Hunter. "You kids wait for my signal." Eda pulls me away to another area in the massive cave. We crouch down behind some rocks, I let King off my shoulders. They both suggest a couple of ideas but none of them land. "Ok, watch this." Eda flips her hair over her face and positions it to... kinda resemble a face? "I'll be the ghost of miners past and spook 'em out." She explains.

"You look like one of my hairballs. Let's just do the trench coat thing." King says.

All of a sudden a blast of fire hits the wall behind us and bounces around the room. With Kikimora distracted, we make a run for the tunnel. The three of us catch up with Amity and Hunter. "Why didn't you wait for our signal?" Eda asks.

Amity answers without stopping running."We don't have time to play around. We are getting that Titan Blood."

After we make it far enough away from the coven scouts we slow down to a normal walking pace. I stand next to Hunter. I hear a chirp. I look over at Hunter and see a familiar pailsman on his shoulder. "Find a different perch, bird." He says annoyed by the pailsman. And that different perch happened to be my shoulder instead. "Oh, hello again little birdy."

We walk out of the dark into a room filled with a dark blueish substance. It looked like it was in the middle of dripping from the roof when it was frozen in time. It reminded me of stalactites.

"Is this Titan's Blood?" Eda asks, looking around at the shiny substance. I walk next to Eda, the moment causes the pailsman to fly from my shoulder. I set Saffron down next to the wall.

Amity looks down at the map in confusion. "But Eclipse Lake is farther ahead." She says. King jumps down from Eda's shoulder. "Who cares? We did it!" King excitedly walks toward the Titan's Blood(?)
