The day was difficult for nandini she tried giving herself excuses but deep down she knew she had lost..she was sitting on a bench in the lawn watching moon nd sipping her coffee thinking about how her life had changed overnight
NANDINI: "don't think of scaring me manik" she said when she felt him taking steps towards her nd she knew he must be thinking of scaring her
MANIK: "how did you knowww it's me nd I'm coming to scare youu" he said coming infront of her
NANDINI: "I know you better than you know yourself" she said with a smile he too smiled at her nd sat beside her on the bench
MANIK: "so?" Raising an eyebrow
NANDINI: "so???" She said taking a sip of her coffee
MANIK: "how was your day?" He sat on the grass folding his legs infront of her
NANDINI: "it was okay" she said looking away
MANIK: "you won't ask about my day we didn't had a talk after last night" he took her coffe mug nd had a sip to which she glared him nd he smiled
NANDINI: "I can see your day was good cracked a deal again?"
MANIK: "no actually I didn't had much work in office so we spent some time together"
NANDINI: "we?"
MANIK: "me nd soha" he said shyly running his hand in his hair
NANDINI: "so happy?" She said again took a sip of her coffee not wanting him to see her facial expressions
MANIK: "actually yeah I'm happy you know nandini It's the first time someone other than you nd our friends got to know me got to know my heart my feelings someone cared for me I know you guys have always did but you know nandini the proposal it was dreamy like it was a perfect proposal for me I felt special i felt loved someone who would see thw arrangement nd all it maybe very ordinary to them but the detailing of the lightning drinks cosy place starss evrything was according to my taste it was like meant to be made for me she made me feel so good I was already taken aback seeing all that nd someone understood me in such a short period of time nd arranged everything my typee the colors even were of my choice I was shocked to see how closely she had noticed me nd understood me it was so overwhelming" he was lying on the grass seeing stars nd his eyes were shining in happiness while the other two eyes had tears rolling down her cheeks seeing how he is praising soha when everything was done by her onlyy she made so effort to make him feel all this butt.....
"Nd you know na I'd always wished of a girl proposing me in the best possible way nd she did it was beyond beautiful nd she gave me the ring the ring exactly the type of ring I would like the dessert everything was on point...I really appreciated her efforts nd I know you have helped her in this she told me so thankyou.." he said smiling towards her, her face was not clearly visible to him in dark so he couldn't see the tears
NANDINI: "can i ask you something?'she said gaining some courage
MANIK: "yes ofcourse"
NANDINI: "what made you say yes?? Do you feel for her?" She wanted him to say noo he dosent feel for her
MANIK: "to be honest nandini maybe yes I know its not love but there is something about her which made me say yes specially her efforts that she put for me that made me feel not to break her heart nd yeah one more thing i wanna tell you plz dont be mad I'm sorry for hiding it from youu butt I'm really sorry dont be mad at me" she wiped her tears hurriedly bcz she knew he's coming towards her...he sat beside her sitting on his knees held her hands nd she was shocked what else?? What else could break her heart?? Isn't it enough for a day??
MANIK: "actually me nd soha we had been very close since she has joined the office we spent so much time together nd today also we've spent almost the entire day together as it was not a hectic day" he held her both hands in his nd said " I don't know how to tell you nd make you understand we were close like we weren't in a relationship or something but 2 3 accidents happened which made us close like physically close I know I maybe sounding weird I promise I didn't cross the limit thw accidental falls of her on me nd things like that we kissed nd did somethings like you understand naaa?? After that this used to happen very often when we aren't in our senses but we didn't knew what we're doing nd we never talked about it that's why I didn't even tell youu"
Gaining some courage nd not wanting to break infront of him she said
NANDINI: "I'm not mad at you infact I'm happy for both of youu we'll talk later I'm sleepy" she stood nd without hearing him she went tears could not stop rolling down her eyes she was continuously wiping them with her sleeves nd went running her room closing the door behind nd cried cried her heart out
"Kya mei ye deserve krti hun??? Q mery sth hi ye sb hona thaa usy uska pyar nazar arha h mera nai aa skta tha?? Wo sarii efforts mei ne kiii sb kuch mei ne kiyaaa nd shee she just took everything awayyy mei kesyy rahungiii mei kesyy ye sb sun paungi roz mei pyar krti hunn uss sy usy ye nazar q nai ataaa q q" she was crying while sobbing
She went to her washroom opened the shower nd sat down on the floor with her clothes on one could not tell it was water or the tears on her face
"Sohaa played a dirty game she knew what she's gonna do they were being physical there nd I didn't even kneeww itt I was bloody planning to propose him in the best wayyy nd she she bcz of her onlyy I realized my love just bcz of her" she said sobbing crying badlyy she shouted while crying as their washrooms were sound proof so her voice could not go outt
"My friend my best friend started lying to mee he started hiding things from me they two have been together for the firsr time in life he hang out without me he was with her all day nd I was shedding tears here nd thinking it's just from soha's side but manikkk he didn't care that I skipped my meals today I had headache nd he didn't even knew it...wo to meri ankh mei ek ansu ni dekh skta tha aj usny mjhy itna rulaya haii q manikkkk mei kesy sahungii ye sb mei kesyyyy" after three hours of taking continuous cold shower crying she stepped out changed into her night dress nd went to her bed her eyes were swollen
"I'm the one who couldn't take cold showers even if I'm dying but It didn't even felt today the continuous 3 hours of cold shower  what else I've to see" she smiled sadly seeing the changes a day brought her
