"Oh my god oh my god oh my god, BRIAN! HAVE YOU SEEN MY BAG??" I panicked, I looked at my watch it was 3:56. I was supposed to be on a date or hangout or whatever with James at 4:00pm

"No! I'm sure it's under your bed or something!" Brian yells back, I check under the bed and surely it's there.

I spray on perfume, reapply my lipgloss and rush downstairs, the bell rang.

Just in time.

I was about to get it until nick got it.

"Yes?" He asks "I'm here for- oh Brielle!" He waved and I waved back, I swear I saw nicks jaw clench but I suggested I was just seeing things.

"Shall we?" James asks extending a hand, I nod and take his hand.

"Be back by 7!" Nick calls out "whatever!" I yell back.

"He your brother?" James asks "hes my brothers friend" I make it clear "I see, he lives with you?"

"Yup, my brother and his band mates" I clarify "your brothers in a band? Hold on is it backstreet boys I swear the guy that opened that door looked familiar" James said as he backed out from the parking.

"Indeed" I nodded laughing slightly "ok so where exactly are we going?" I questioned still not knowing where we're going.

"It's a surprise" he looks at me then back to the road.

We went to watch a movie and went to a fine dining restaurant after "you didn't have to" I put a hand over my mouth.

Good thing I wore not too bad clothes. I wore a black dress with a leather coat and a pair of heels that were boots if you know what I mean.

We had Italian and honestly it was really fun, but something was missing I couldn't put my finger on top of it... It wasn't missing in the date just in general, it didn't seem right.

There were no sparks neither were there much butterflies.

"Tonight was fun" I smiled lightly "yea, it was" he agrees "but... I don't want you to take this in a bad way I feel like maybe we should stay friends" he says straight out.

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding "I felt that way too, good we feel the same" I chuckled, as he did as well.

"Don't get me wrong your absolutely gorgeous and really nice, I just think we'd be better off as friends" he cleared up "don't worry I feel the same way" I smiled up at him, I gave him a hug before he left.

"How was your date?" Was the first thing I heard as I got in.

"Well, nick, the date was ok. Although we both decided it best we stay as friends" I shrugged as I removed my shoes.

"Wha- thta fast?" He asked "yes why do you keep asking" I rolled my eyes "someone in a bitchy mood" he frowned.

"I'm not being in a bitchy mood alright, you just keep asking and quite frankly I'm tired." I flat out.

"Fine, I'm sorry then but still no need to snap" he crosses his arms "whatever" I mumble as I walk past him, couldn't he just leave me be. Why'd he always ask these questions?

Especially when James and I would hang out more he kept asking questions about James what was it that he wanted?

I went up to my room and got changed into more comfortable clothes. I removed my previous clothes from the day and put on a tank top with thin straps and plaid pyjamas.

I just laid in my bed, tired, and soon I directed off to sleep.

I wake up the next day at around 12 pm I sit up and just stare into nothingness until I finally go down to get some food, I see nick already there.

"Are the others up?" I asked "nuh uh nope" he shakes his head "they all slept late so" he continued on "I see"

I start to zone out since I was still relatively sleepy.

"Take a pic it'll last longer" nick winks as he snaps me out of my little trance.

"Ugh whatever" I roll my eyes at the guy "you know you don't have to deny the fact that you are so into me"

"And what if I am carter?" I step closer looking directly into his eyes making it silent between the to of us for a while, his cheeks went red.

"I'm joking" I suddenly say as I laugh "don't be too excited carter I saw you blushing, I wasn't serious" I shrugged as i put my dishes away and walked away leaving him there.
