Jungkook walks into a flower shop with a mission to woo the bright and cheery florist, Jimin.
What Jimin doesn't know, is that he'll be the light in Jungkook's life. And psychopathic Jungkook will do anything to keep his light from dimming.

Jimin looked up when he heard the bell above the door jingle. His plump lips stretched into a bright smile as he greeted the customer warmly. "Hi, welcome to Ivy. My name is Jimin, how can I help you?" Jimin took off his gardening gloves and apron, placing them on the counter.
In walked a man, he was dressed in a pair of slacks that hugged him in the right places, along with a button down that seemed to be made just for him. He flashed a smile back at Jimin. "I'm looking for the perfect bouquet for a certain someone I'm trying to catch the eye of, think you could help me choose?"
Jimin clapped in tiny and made a noise of happiness. "How exciting." He loved helping people make a bold and romantic statement with flowers, he felt like it was his specialty. The gesture was sweet and simple. In Jimin's eyes. It was the perfect approach. He might've been a little biased, he loved flowers. "Right this way." Jimin rounded the counter.
As he led the customer down an aisle, he turned to him to speak. "Have you thought of a certain style of bouquet or flower?" Jimin's smile didn't fade as he thought of new love. It was always so refreshing.
Jimin radiated enthusiasm about helping choose the flower, it caused the customer to keep his smile too. "I'm completely clueless, what do you recommend?"
Jimin stopped walking abruptly and spun on his heel to face the customer. It almost caused the customer to bump into him. Jimin laughed, "I can't just recommend something as if it's the soup of the day, silly. Tell me some things you know about the guy or girl."
The customer looked up and pretended to think long and hard. "Hmm, I can tell that they seem to like flowers. I haven't talked to them long enough to know much." He looked back down at Jimin and smirked. "Is there a most popular flower?"
Jimin huffed and placed his hands on his hips, looking away briefly to ponder it. "Well that would be red roses. It's a lovely flower but they're a bit overrated. There are so many other unique flowers to choose from rather than to just pick red roses. I'd honestly frown if someone gave me red roses."
The customer hummed, nodding his head as he thought about Jimin's words. "What flowers would you like for someone to give you?"
Jimin turned and walked a little further down the aisle. He reached up and delicately touched a flower. "Spirea. It's quite the elegant and classic looking flower, no crazy or breathtaking color but I think they speak perfectly for the gesture. A simple one but still full of thought. It's my birth flower." He smiled longingly, gaze glued to the flower as he caressed it gently. "It'd meant that someone put a little extra thought into which flowers they would choose for me. It's a cliche gift but that's a good way to personalize it and make it special for that certain someone, y'know?" Jimin turned back to the customer who was already looking at him.
"Then I'll take those."
Jimin's entire face dropped. "What? Did you not hear the last part?" He deadpanned.
"Oh I heard you. I think their birthday is the same as yours." The customer smiled almost teasingly.
"Really?" Jimin's face lit up like a Christmas tree and his smile returned even brighter. If his smile before was bright then this one was blinding. "How about I choose the kind of bouquet too?"
It sounded like a question but Jimin was already choosing a few of the flowers to arrange them himself, happily walking towards the counter. The customer chuckled as he followed behind Jimin back to the front of the flower shop. "Okay, now. Would you like a hand written card?"
The customer leaned up against the counter, and smiled. Eyes never leaving Jimin's. "Actually, yes."
"Okay wait, wait." Jimin bent down to grab the calligraphy pen, ink, and a note card. Placing everything on the counter, he looked up at the customer. "I'm ready."
"271."
"271." Jimin repeated as he wrote in the prettiest handwriting using the pen.
"566."
"566."
"2866."
"2866."
Jimin looked back up at the customer. "That it?"
"Oh and write. From, Jungkook." Jungkook leaned up and stuffed his hand in a pocket, pulling out his wallet. Jimin finished up writing the message and added a couple of swirly designs around it. He furrowed his eyebrows in concentration, the customer thought it was cute as he watched Jimin carefully. Soon Jimin moved over to the register and rung it up. The two finished the transaction and Jimin smiled, knowing he helped someone today.
"I hope they enjoy your gift." Jimin said genuinely, sliding the bouquet and card closer to Jungkook.
Jungkook shook his head and laughed, sliding the bouquet and card back across the counter, closer to Jimin. "I hope he does too." He winked and turned to leave the shop.
Jimin was confused as he watched his figure disappear back through the door, the bell above it ringing again. He looked back down at the flowers in shock and picked up the card, reading "From, Jungkook."

(A/n) I originally wasn't going to add any pictures but my sibling SUGAsSUB loves pictures. They are also my biggest fan so I must oblige. :)
Here are Spirea aka Bridal Wreaths. I know someone probably wouldn't gift these kind of flowers but you must admit I put a cute and romantic twist on it for the story.

The picture of the flower shop at the top gives a hint as to who owns the flower shop, take a guess. ;)
