Itto p.o.v.

Yesterday, I, y/n, and ushi all decided to visit y/n's friend.

Who I found out this morning that his name was gorou.

It was nighttime, and we had to camp outside for tonight.

Y/n suggested we have turns staying up so we don't get attacked.

"Hm? Why's that?" I said, looking puzzled as we sat around a campfire that y/n made.

"We are out in the wild. It's just in case we get attacked by an animal... or something worse."

I nodded, understanding what she meant.

"I could go first if neither of you want to?" Y/n continued.

I looked over at ushi while he looked back at me.

"Then. I'll go first!" I said, facing y/n again.

"Are you sure? I can -"

"Don't worry. I the great and mighty arataki itto the one and oni, can handle it!" I proudly said, crossing my arms.

"Well, alright. Wake me when you feel tired. Ok?"

"Of course," I grinned at her, and not that long later, ushi and y/n decided to go to sleep.

I sat near them as they slept together.

Y/n arm was wrapped around ushi's body, and ushi was doing the same.

"They look cute together," I mumbled to myself, smiling at them.

The fire from the campfire started going out until all was left was the smoke.

It was dark. There was no light but the shining moon that was creeping through the clouds.

I had to admit this was kind of boring not having anyone to talk to while I watched over them.

I looked back down at y/n, and she seemed to be shivering slightly.

'Is she cold?' I thought worring a little about her.

I then had an idea.

I took my jacket off and sat closer to her. I put the jacket half over her body and half over my legs, so I would freeze either.

It was cold tonight.

Y/n then stopped shivering and turned her body in her sleep and faced towards me.

I saw her hand gripping onto my jacket.

'Her hands look so small compared to my jacket,' I thought, smiling.

After a long while, I was starting to get tired.

'I better wake her,' I thought, but then remembered what happened yesterday morning.

When she tried to squeeze my wrists to death.

'I better not... but she might get mad at me if I don't.' I thought.
