sebastian's pov
"This has to be perfect," I proclaimed as I planned out the entire date on a piece of parchment. Ominis and I say beside each other at the small desk near my bed in our dorm. As it was going to be me and Y/N's first date, I was stressed and felt the need to impress more than usual.
"You're overthinking this, Sebastian. As per usual." Ominis groaned. "This isn't even my own date, why am I subjected to help you?"
"Because you're my best friend, this is what you're suppose to do."
"I thought Y/N was."
"Ominis, do you want to be my best friend or not."
"At this point, no."
I placed my hand on his shoulder, "You're very funny, but I was not giving you a choice."
"It sounded like you were."
"You are a stubborn little asshole, you know that right?"
"Yes, I actually pride myself in being one. I'm not sure if you have realized it, I'm only one to you. I'm actually quite nice to everyone else."
I slammed my fists on the desk, "Ominis, just help me!"
"Can you ask ever so nicely first?"
I groaned, rolling my eyes. "Can you help me, please."
"No."
My head made contact with the desk, a loud thump filled the room.
"Sebastian, did you just bang your head on desk?"
My head stayed on the desk in defeat. "No, I did not. Only an idiot would do that."
"Well, you actually are-"
"I am not, now can you work some magic over here?"
"I guess since you asked nicely." I could see him grinning out of the corner of my eye as I rose my head from the desk, taking a quill into my hand.
-----
I found myself wondering the halls, attempting to clear my mind of the stress I went through. I felt like I got nowhere with planning the date. Y/N was very special to me, and I felt like I wasn't good at showing that just yet. While deep in thought, I could hear the sound of bells around me. Curiously, I started to follow the noise. As I stood in front of the wall where the bells were sounding from, a door slowly started to appear. My head tilted to the side, reaching for the door handle. I slowly opened the door, walking in.
It was quite a large room, nicely decorated but seemed abandoned.
"Mister Sallow, welcome." A soft voice spoke from below me. I looked down to see a familar house elf looking up at me with a smile. "Deek is happy to see you."
"Hello, Deek." I smiled at him before going back to examining the room.
"Deek would like to introduce you to the Room of Requirement. You were meant to find this, the Room of Requirement is found whenever someone is in great need of it."
"Great need, you say." I began to smile to myself, "Can you tell me more?"
"Of course, you can tranform the room to be whatever you are in need for it to be. Deek has seen students turn the room into many things. What can Deek help you with?"
"Deek, this may sound a little weird, but I think I may know why I found it. I'I-m in need of somewhere to hold a date." I said lowly, almost embarrassed that I was gifted such a wonderful place that many wizards and witches used for much better reasons.
"Oh, Deek loves romance! Deek can surely be of help."
"Y-you can?"
"Of course, the way the Room of Requirement works is that you must think very hard about what you need, and the room shall give it you. Give it a try, Mister Sallow."
We stood in the middle of the room, I continued to look around before closely my eyes tightly. I began to think. My mind went immediately to the beach at sunset, a blanket laying on the sand, close to the water but not close enough for the water to make it's way to it. I could hear the waves crashing now as I slowly opened my eyes.
Deek and I were now standing in sand. My lips parted, taking in the view. It was exactly how I imagined.
"Deek, this is incredible.."
"Deek is pleased!"
"I think you may just be the best wingman to ever exist, could you possibly help me a little with my situation?"
"Deek can do his best, what does Mister Sallow need?"
I smiled to myself, closing my eyes once again. I began to think about a nice candle lit dinner in dimmed lighting before opening my eyes once again, the room changing appearance accordingly.
"I have a small list of things I'll need, I hope it won't be too much." I reached into my pocket and pulled out the piece of parchment and handed it to the house elf. Deek began to look over it before giving me a smile. "I would need everything for tomorrow night."
"Deek will get started on Mister Sallow's wishes. Deek's friends in the kitchen will be glad to help." I watched the elf start to make his way out.
"Oh, Deek! One more question before you leave. Are you always here?"
"Deek is here majority of the day, but Deek usually leaves by the evening until the morning."
"Perfect, thank you again, Deek." I smiled to myself, beginning to think about the perfect evening I was going to give Y/N.
