sebastian's pov

She looked perfect, soundly asleep in my arms with her bare skin against mine. My arms wrapped around her body tightly, and I had a feeling I would never want to let go of her.

If you would have told me this morning that this is how my day would end, I would have simply laughed in your face. I'm not even completely sure how our events today lead me here to this moment. I'm more than grateful, but there was some loose ends in our story here.

"Having trouble sleeping?" Her gentle voice questioned, bringing back in the moment. Her eyes looked tired as she fought to sleep, so we could have a conversation.

"Somehow after all of that, yes," I laughed as our positions moved to laying on out sides to look at each other.

"Whenever I can't sleep, I create scenarios about my future. Do you ever think about your future, Sebastian?"

I never put too much thought into my future. I felt like I was more of an in the moment type of guy. Of course, I would think about the smallt things like a career, but nothing really past that.

"No, I haven't put much thought into it."

"I would love to hear about it, if we ever had the chance."

"Well, there's no better moment than the present."

A smile grew across the perfect face of hers. I knew a conversation like this would make her happy, and who am I not to deliver that happiness? I took a moment to collect my thoughts, scrambling across my mind for how I pictured my perfect future.

"I once thought I wanted to become Auror, but I don't think the path I'm going down anymore. I think I may want to become an artist."

"I didn't know you drew."

"It's something I don't share with many people. It's just something I did in my free time. I had a lot of time during the summer. My home back in Feldcroft is covered in drawings right now. As much as I love my home, I don't think I'll stay there afteer graduation. I see myself moving near the coast. I spent some time there as a kid, beaches are my safe space. I would want a small little cottage with a small garden, a small gesture to remember Anne if we never met again. Of course, I can see a few little ones running around. I want my sons to be older than my daughters, so they could have protective older brothers during their times here. I see myself looking out the window, admiring them standing next to the perfect woman who I'll love till my last breath."

"That sounds perfect." Y/N said, continuing to smile sleepishly at me.

"I think it's your turn."

"Well, I think I want to become a Healer. Becoming an Auror sounds too scary to me, especially with my anicent magic. I wouldn't want my powers to have the abilities of being abused. I think when I'm old, I want to move back home to France. I haven't been back since I started here. I miss it dearly. I think the coast sounds like a good place to settle down, a small home right off the beach. I think I want one boy and one girl. And a cat, a little orange tabby name Flair. And of course, a husband to share my love with."

"I've never been to France."

"It's beautiful, you should visit it one day."

"Hopefully with you."

I watched as a pink blush covered her face, a hand coming up to cover her face. My hand rose, resting against hers as I pulled it away.

"Don't hide from me now," I laughed. "I love seeing you like this."

Her blush became deeper from the comment. My smile grew. My heart could explode from the events that I was expirencing with her. I've waited a hard year for this moment, and I wouldn't change it for anything in the world.

"Whenever we graduate, I'll take you to France. Before we have to part ways, we'll take a trip."

"We will never part ways, Y/N. I'll be a menace in your life until the day we die."
