POV. Yoru

Yoru Byakuya was just a normal girl, or so she thought. At the age of nine, her life changed when her father, a doctor, started working with the notorious villain All For One. He became obsessed with creating the perfect quirk, and Yoru was his most successful experiment, earning her the code name "Project Infinity."

But when her father died before she turned nine, Yoru was left alone and confused. Her mother did her best to protect her, but the trauma of her childhood experiment stayed with her.

Yoru grew up with a kind heart, always willing to help those in need. She met her fiancé, Ash Sleepy, when they were both still in middle school. He was a year older than her and was attending Shiketsu High School as a hero in training. They fell in love and got engaged when Yoru was just twelve years old.

However, tragedy struck when Ash was injured while saving a small child. He fell into a coma and has yet to wake up, leaving Yoru to care for their daughter, Melody, alone.

Yoru had a quirk that allowed her to use her blood as a healing method, but she also had a shadow quirk that required her to drink blood from time to time. Melody had a siren quirk that allowed her to sense people's emotions from their heart, create barriers with her voice, and teleport to people in danger.

Yoru woke up early in the morning, her heart pounding with anticipation for her UA exam. She got dressed quickly, put her hair up in a ponytail, and grabbed her bag. Before leaving, she checked on Melody, who was still sleeping soundly.

Yoru then met up with her childhood friend Eiko, who was also taking the exam that day. Eiko had the ability to communicate with animals, making her a valuable asset for any hero team.

Yoru sat nervously in her seat, fidgeting with her pen as she waited for the written portion of the UA entrance exam to begin. She glanced around the room, taking in the dozens of other students who were also vying for a spot at the prestigious hero academy. She swallowed hard, feeling a lump form in her throat as her mind raced with doubts and insecurities.

"Eiko," she whispered, turning to her childhood friend who sat beside her. "Do you think I'll make it?"

Eiko flashed her a reassuring smile. "Of course you will, Yoru. You're one of the strongest people I know."

Yoru managed a small smile in return, feeling slightly comforted by Eiko's words. They had been friends for years, and Yoru knew that Eiko always had her back. As they waited for the test to begin, they chatted quietly about their respective quirks and what they hoped to accomplish as heroes.

After what felt like an eternity, the written portion of the exam ended and the practical portion began. Yoru's heart raced as she stepped onto the field, her eyes scanning the area for any potential dangers. She had trained for this moment for years, and she was determined to do her best.

As she made her way through the course, she encountered several robotic villains that she had to defeat. With each victory, her confidence grew, and she pushed herself harder and harder. When the test was over, she collapsed onto the ground, panting heavily.

"Yoru!" Eiko exclaimed, rushing over to her side. "Are you okay?"

Yoru nodded weakly, feeling exhausted but exhilarated at the same time. "I did it," she whispered, a sense of pride swelling in her chest.

As they left the testing area, Yoru's thoughts turned to Melody, who was staying with her grandmother while she took the exam. She missed her daughter terribly, but she knew that she had to focus on her dream of becoming a hero.

"I can't wait to see Melody," Yoru said, smiling as they walked towards the hospital. "I hope she's doing okay."

"I'm sure she is," Eiko replied. "She's a tough little kid, just like her mom."
