My Possessive Enemy (Series #1)

PROLOGUE

"I'm going to take a shower muna, ah. Wait," he said and went straight to the bathroom.

I was just doing my skincare routine at pinapa-dede na rin si Kaior. Mabuti naman at mabait 'tong anak ko.

"Mommy... I saw in my school that other have their own daddy, mommy." he suddenly said. "Where is my daddy, mommy?"

That made my heart break. I was so sad that my son haven't meet his own father, yet. I have no plans, anyway.

But right now na mismo ang anak ko ang nag-hanap sakaniya. I don't know... kaya ko nga ba siyang makitang muli after all these years? After all the pain he caused to me?

But this is for Kaior. I'll let him meet his father, since he asked for it. I promised to my self that I'd give anything for my son as long as kaya ko.

Masakit man ay kakayanin kong harapin siya'ng muli. For my son... just for my son.

I sat down on the bed and kissed his forehead. "Okay... next time, we'll meet your daddy."

"Yey!" he jumped out in excitement.

I don't really know when will we meet again, to be honest. I am not so sure if nandito pa ba siya sa Pilipinas.

I went out of the room to go to the living room and get my laptop. I've decided to call Tita Faye, Kaiden's mother. Kahit na wala na kami ni Kaiden ay maco-contact ko pa naman sina Tita.

And they did not know yet that they already have a grandchild.

"Oh, Zior." napangiti ito. "Napatawag ka?"

"Uh.. Tita may tanong lang kase ako," sabi ko.

Kinuha naman niya ang tasa ng kape at saka ininom. "Ano iyon, Zior?"

"Si... ano... si Kaiden ba, n-nasaan na siya?" I asked.

She stopped for a moment and stared at my face, which is really weird to be honest. She placed the cup of coffee again on the table and sighed heavily.

"He's currently not in the country right now," she said.

Dismayado kong sinapo ang noo ko. "Then where is he now?" I asked.

"We didn't know... all we know is that, he has a work outside the country." sabi naman niya.

I nodded and smiled at her. Kinumusta ko pa sila bago ko na tuloyang in-off ang laptop at tumungo na sa kwarto.

I already saw Jeyo who was sleeping beside my son. I just smiled at them and decided to go lay down on the other side and slept.

I woke up for more like around 4 AM just to prepare some of our things kase ngayon na ang alis namin.

Kaior was still sleeping, and I don't wanna disturb his sleep yet. Mamaya pa naman 'yong alis namin.

"Let's have a breakfast muna, Zior." Jeyo said, kakahilamos lang niya.
