Day off

Karan got ready and made breakfast for them until Teju got ready

Both settled to have breakfast there was awkward silence between them.
Teju didn't know what to say after yesterday's incidents she was nervous thinking about what he must be thinking about her that she left her family being selfish. Teju was in her thoughts when Karan spoke breaking her trance
" Teju are you okay ?"
" What "
" I'm asking are you okay.. you are looking lost "
" Ya I'm fine" Teju replied nervously
Karan narrowed his eyes

"Karan do u think I did wrong by leaving my house . Do u think I'm selfish?" teju asked
Karan remain silent not able to answer her sudden question
Teju misunderstood that he doesn't want to answer her and he is disappointed in her which she couldn't take and her eyes glistened with tears

Karan noticed and cupped her face immediately
" No ...You haven't done anything wrong. You are not selfish and taking decision for yourself doesn't mean being selfish and you need to be brave for that which you are .." Karan said admiring her
" Do you really think that or.." Teju asked and tears flowed down her cheeks
" Ya ... You know what after you told me everything yesterday my respect for you has been increased. I have never seen a girl like you who left her luxury life and comfort zone to be independent. " Karan said wiping her tears and holded her hand
" You know when I used to be in college it was high class students college in which I got admission. In that college students who belongs to rich family doesn't use to care about studies they used to come to college just to chill and they just wanted degrees for name sake as they have to work in their ancestors company and just to order others. I have also seen girls who belongs to rich family and just want to enjoy their life on their father's or husband's money which used to piss me off. I'm so proud of you that you are not like that ..you have made your own identity instead of being dependent on your father's name .
I really respect and  like you for that" Karan said her lovingly
Teju felt really happy and content hearing him and she hugged him unconsciously
Karan got suprised at first but then holded her securely both remained like that for few mins both felt content

Teju realised what she did and she backed off
" Sorry I just..." Teju said nervously and her cheeks were flushed red
" It's ok.. I like it" Karan said stroking her cheeks
" I think we should leave ..we are late for office already" Teju said and stood up
" Let's just take a day off today .. anyway we are late and there is not much work today in office" Karan sighed and said making faces
" No Karan we can't take a day off we are going to take leave next week anyway " Teju replied
" Yeah but there is not much pending work left we have already completed almost work and remaining we will complete by Monday as we have to leave on Tuesday " Karan tried convincing her

Teju was thinking about it when Karan took her hand and dragged her to couch and said
" Oh come on teju don't think much..
let's just watch movie and chill today"
" Okay " teju said excitedly
" You start the movie till then I will bring some snacks for us" teju said and ran into kitchen without waiting for his reply
Karan chuckled at her excitement and  selected a good movie
Both enjoyed their time watching movie with snacks
By the end of the movie both were in each other's arms subconsciously
They both get so comfortable with each other that they don't even realise their position

Movie ended and both looked at each other and their faces were an  inch apart their eyes met and both glanced at each other lips for few seconds and Karan leaned towards her lips and teju closed her eyes giving permission and their  lips were going to meet when the door bell ranged and both realised and moved back from each other embarassed.
" Umm.. I.. ( door bell ranged again ) I have ordered lunch for us " Karan said and went to take the order
Both arranged food on dinning table and sat to eat
There was silence for few mins while eating
" Teju I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable I " Karan said looking down
Teju cut him off
" No Karan you didn't I.. I don't feel uncomfortable with you" teju said and her cheeks were red
Karan smirked looking at her.

After few hours
Teju was sitting alone in balcony while sipping tea and Karan was checking few mails and talking to some client in living room
(Teju in mind : I don't know what is happening with me . I have never felt like this before. No one have ever made me feel this secure and safe except my father and brother. My feeling is growing day by day for him . Today we were so close to each other. We were almost going to kiss each other does that mean he feels same for me. Should I confess him but what if he doesn't feel same it will be very awkward then ...no I don't want that I will just wait for some time. )

Karan ended his call with client and glanced at balcony where teju was sitting sipping tea and her hairs were flowing in air making her look more beautiful
( Karan in mind: she looks so beautiful.
I don't feel like taking my eyes off her .
From few days I m feeling like she also likes me . Her possessiveness for me, her care , her words and her actions makes me feel she also has some feelings for me but I'm not sure.Today we were going to kiss and she may be reciprocated closing her eyes I feel but that delivery boy disturbed our moment. I want to confess her my feelings I couldn't be able to control it from last few days but I'm afraid what if she doesn't feel same and leaves me if I confess. No no I don't want that I can't stay away from her that's why I have planned to take her with me to my parents'home so I get more time to spend with her and understand her feelings and convinced her for that after so many requests. )
