Next day went as usual for them in office while driving back to home.
Karan asked teju

" Teju I thought about what you said yesterday and I feel you are right"
" I know I'm always right " teju said flipping her hair and both giggled
" Just kidding but what are you talking about" she continued
" About giving time to parents and talking to them so I decided to go to Jalandhar for the Pooja which is next week and you will be coming with me " Karan said it more likely ordering her
" What no..no How can I.. I don't even know them they don't even know me it will be awkward and what they will say that you brought your employee with you and I will take care of office while you were not here and... " Teju starts blabbering nervously
" Ok just be quite once you start you don't stop and firstly I am not asking you I'm telling you that you are coming with me you don't have any other option,  and second you are not only my employee you are my best friend (actually more than that he muttered himself ) and third my PA will take care of everything in office don't worry about that " He told her

" But Karan.."
" No more arguments we have reached home ...today we will order something.. instead of cooking we will watch movie"
Karan said and both move to home from parking and move to their rooms get fresh and then watch movie with dinner and after that they sat in balcony taking fresh air silently. Karan broke the silence and asked teju

" Teju can I ask you something"
" Yeah you don't permission say it" teju said nonchalantly
" You never talked about your family or parents why "
Teju gets uncomfortable and Karan can see the uncomfort in her face so he continued and said
" If you don't want to talk about it.. it's okay" Karan said comforting her
" No actually I haven't talked about them to anyone.. (she sighs ) they live in Delhi my parents and my 2 brothers and their wives and I don't have good terms with them right now since I left the house against their will"
" Why " Karan asked shockingly
" They wanted me to work in our own company that's my father's company which I don't want to do so I left"
" What's wrong in that they want their daughter to work with them " Karan said in disbelief and he always considered teju as mature and sensible so it shooked him

" Karan you won't understand no one understands they treated me like princess they never let me work in house or in office I wanted to learn more about business and web development but they never let me do anything they just gave me high post and said you just have order things to people which I don't wanted and then I wanted to work in another company to learn things and to have work experience I wanted to be independent and earn on my own but they never let me do that too when I asked them for it they said what others will say that our daughter is not working in our own company and working in some other company which is shameful" she took a deep breath
" And then they fixed my marriage marry to some random billionaire guy whom I even don't know when I didn't agreed for it they tried to convince me saying that he will secure my future.. but why would I need somebody else to secure my future I can do it on my own  I wanted to be independent I wanted to be in good post due to my talent and hard work not because my father owns the company.(by the time tears started flowing) Do you know they never let me go out of the house alone they never let me do anything on my own .. their over protectiveness was caging me which I use to hate I don't like being dependent on my father or brothers for everything so I Just ran away from my house on the day of my engagement " she started sobbing
Karan took her in his embrace and started saying soothing words in her ear making her calm
" Everything will be fine they will talk to you soon.. you only said to me that parents can't stay upset from their child for long remember "
Teju got calmed and nodded
" But they never talked to me it's been over a year  I tried to contact them so many times but they said they got embarassed infront of everyone because of me and they broke all the knots with me" teju said sobbing in his embrace
" Everything will be fine you are so strong they will understand your point of view by the time " Karan said calming her both sat in silence for some time.

After some time Karan noticed that teju asleeped in his embrace while crying ..her cheeks and nose are all red. Karan picked her in bridal style and took her to his room and made her sleep beside him taking her in his embrace.

In morning, teju woke up first and felt weight on her waist and her head was throbbing due to crying so much last night. She slowly opened her eyes and saw Karan's face close to her and his hand on her waist holding her closely and securely. Teju was staring at his calm face and loving the view infront of her . She slowly moves few hairs from his forehead to which Karan moves and open his eyes and teju closes her eyes pretending to be asleep. Karan looks at her and smiles silently requesting to God to make him wake up to this view everyday and kisses her forehead and tries to silently move from bed without disturbing her sleep and goes to washroom. Teju gets shocked when he kisses her forehead but don't react and wakes up when she hears washroom 's door closing sound . Teju was blushing remembering his actions from yesterday and today and then she proceeds towards her room to get ready for office.
