The pogues were on the boat crowding around Pope and they all looked disappointed
"It's not there.Look, just pull the drone up."John b sighed
"Look, we can do another pass. recharge the battery.
We can go back down."Pope suggested
"We've done it three times. There's nothing there."JJ spoke up
"Shut up!"Kie shouted
"What? It's true!"JJ shouted back
"The gold could be buried.We don't know."Evan commented
"If it was there, it would've been found on the metal detector, okay?Somebody beat us to it."John b stated
"Or it was never there."JJ scoffed

JJ and Evan were out shooting teddy bears until pope came over
"JJ! Evan!"Pope yelled
"They know."Pope stated
"What?"JJ asked
"They know."Pope repeated
"I'm sorry know what?" Evan questioned
"I got jumped by Rafe and Topper when I was delivering groceries so we went over and I sunk Topper's boat." Pope explained
"How am I just finding out about this."Evan whispered
"All right, chill, bro. All right? They don't know shit."JJ reassured
"Topper knows I sunk his boat."Pope panicked
"How do you know they know?"Evan asked the boy
"Because Rafe and Topper posted outside of Heyward's and mad dogged me."Pope sighed
"Will you calm down and get a grip, man?They don't know shit."JJ exclaimed
"They have cameras. They could've seen me."Pope defended
"There was no power. How could they have seen you?"Evan commented
"It's Figure Eight. They got generators.They don't give scholarships to kids who vengefully sink boats.
It's not a good look on my transcript."Pope explained
"Enough with the regret, bro! They caved your face in. They hit us, we hit them. It's the law of the jungle.
Now, if any Kooks come up to you and ask if you had anything to do with it, you walk up to 'em, look 'em right in the eye, and."JJ yelled
"Deny the living shit out of it."Pope whispered
"That's right. Deny, deny, deny.But just for safety, we don't go anywhere without protection."JJ stated looking down at the gun
"Are we telling Kie?" Evan spoke up
"No!" the other two boys yelled

Kie,Evan,JJ and Pope made their way over to the obx summer movie series
"Aren't you glad I made you come?"Kiara questioned the boys
"Ecstatic."Pope said bluntly
"My couch was pretty comfy, I'll be honest."JJ stated
"I could've been surfing right now."Evan sighed
"We're out of the green zone, man.lPope whispered to the boys
"Dude, tranquilo, okay? We're in the middle of Kooklandia."JJ whispered back
"This is the last place I wanted to be."Pope sighed "Shut up, Pope!"The two boys yelled as Kiara went to order

"Just saw Rafe, and he said, and I quote, "Tell your boy that we know what he did."What is that?"Kiara quoted
"Um Where is he?"JJ asked
"Right there."She stated as the three boys looked back at them
"Great, the whole death squad."Pope panicked
"Don't stare, bro."JJ whispered
"Just warning you, bro. If they corner me, I'm coming out swinging, okay? Slice and dicing.I'm on edge right now."JJ explained
"Are you serious right now?"Evan scoffed
"Yes I am and If that doesn't work, I got this right here."JJ exclaimed
"Yeah, yeah. So, we just gotta stay in the group.They can't get us in the group."Pope explained
"Like a school of fish."JJ replied
"Stay in the school. Can't leave the school."Pope panicked
"I'm sorry, JJ.Please tell me that you did not bring a gun here. JJ, there are kids".Kiara snapped
"No! Kie, I didn't bring the gun. Everything's fine, okay?"JJ defended
"Wow, thank you. That's really convincing. I love that, JJ."Kiara said sarcastically
"Founding principle, you guys. No secrets amongst Pogues.What is Rafe talking about?"Kiara exclaimed
"Kie,it might go down tonight."Pope whispered
"What does that mean?"Might go down tonight."
What did y'all do?"Kiara questioned
"Deny, deny, deny."JJ repeated

As hours passed the pogues still remained at the obx summer movie series
"JJ? Evan?"Pope whispered
"What?"The two boys replied
"Gotta take a piss."Pope stated
"Hold it."JJ demanded
"I can't hold it. I drank too much soda."Pope sighed
It's too exposed.They'll totally see us."Evan commented
"I gotta go.They're blocking the bathrooms."Pope panicked as they looked over to the kooks
"Come here.I know where."JJ whispered
"Aren't you coming Evan?" Pope asked
"I'm staying with kie."Evan whispered
"Hey, where y'all going?"Kiara questioned
"We gotta wring it out."JJ stated
"You gonna hold it for each other?"Kiara asked

The two boys had been gone for a while
"Something's happened for sure. Oh shit they're gone"Evan muttered
"What do you mean something's happened."Kiara asked
"We need to go kie now!"He yelled as they ran over
"Let go of him, Topper! Fascist asshole!"Kiara yelled
"Get off him you asshole!" Evan yelled as he tackled Rafe.He started punching him continuously until Kelce pushed JJ onto the ground and grabbed Evan from behind.Rafe started punching him back
"You dirty pogues!"Rafe yelled
"Evan! Get off him you kooks!"JJ threatened as he grabbed Kelce
Rate punched Evan in the ribs causing him to groan at the contact
"Come on Rafe is that all that you got"Evan breathed out causing Rafe to hit him even more
Kiara lit the fire causing the screen to go into flames
"Guys fire!"Rafe yelled as the three kooks ran off
"Evan you alright?"Kiara asked the boy as she helped the boy
"Yeah.Are you? Did they touch you?"He asked
"I'm fine don't worry."She smiled
"Pope you good?"Evan asked as he helped him up
"You're a freakin idiot."He let out
"I saved your ass come on."Kiara stated as they all walked off together

"Don't let it get in your head. Three of them and two of us. Until Evan joined in too That's typical Kook shit right there."JJ scoffed
"Hell, yeah."Kie agreed
"What was your thought process, using your head?"JJ asked
"I don't know, man. I just kind of acted off instinct.
I was a cornered animal."Pope stated
"Hey, Pope, someone is here to see you."Heyward announced as Shoupe came inside
"Evening,Officer."Pope greeted
"I have an arrest warrant for felony destruction of property."Shoupe conveyed
"What?"Heyward asked confused
"Hands where I can see 'em.Young lady, out of my way."Shoupe stated
"Whoa. Shoupe, what'd he do?You're just arresting my boy?"Heyward questioned
"Be careful!"Kiara yelled
"Anything you say can and will be held against you in the court of law.You have the right to an attorney."Shoupe announced
"How much did they pay you, man?"Evan snapped
"It wasn't him! It was me.He tried to talk me out of it, but I was mad because he'd just been beaten up.
I was so sick of those assholes from Figure Eight that I lost my shit.I can't let you take the blame for somethin' I did. You've got too much to lose."JJ explained
"JJ, what are you doing?"Pope asked
"I'm tellin' the truth.For once in my goddamn life, I'm gonna tell the truth.I took his old man's boat, too."JJ sighed
"What the hell?"Heyward shouted
"JJ, come on."Pope argued
"Just shut up, Pope! Just shut up. He's a good kid.You know where I'm from."JJ defended
"Yeah."Shoupe agreed
"This was all me."JJ lied
"That's the whole truth?"Shoupe interrogated
"Whole truth, swear to God."JJ stated
"I know what you think, damn it, I'm asking Pope."Shoupe declared
"Yeah, that about covers it."Pope sighed
Shoupe handcuffed JJ and grabbed him inside the car and drove off
"Shit!"Pope yelled
"Pope!"Heyward yelled as pope walked off causing Evan and Kiara followed him.
