Chapter 19 Katie

Chapter 19
Katie's POV

"What are you doing here with him?" A very pissed Cayden asked as Lucas came and sat next to me.

"She is my date." Lucas put his arm around me and smiled at his brother.

"Are you serious?" Cayden asked looking pissed

"Is this serious enough for you." Lucas grabbed my cheeks and kissed me.

Time to use your acting skills Katie. I didn't pull away from him but instead acted as if I was enjoying it. After I heard Cayden huff and walk away I pulled away from Lucas.

"Ew please warn me next time!" I told Luke

He smirked and moved back to his seat. "Please, don't act like you didn't enjoy that, princess."

I rolled my eyes at him. Just when I think he is pretty cool he says something annoying and ruins it all.

"That was me acting sweetie." I smirked

"Awe I get a pet name now too!" He said acting fake excited

"No." I said once again rolling my eyes

"You know your cute when your annoyed with me." He looked at me and smiled. Not a smirk a genuine smile. It was the kind of smile that made you smile as well.

"Well your plan worked." I said trying to Chang the subject

"I told you it would. Which also mean we should go eat somewhere else... I have a feeling Cayden might spit in our food." He laughed and got up, he held his hand out for me to grab. I looked at him questioningly. "We still have a little acting to do."

I smiled and put my hand in his and something lit up in my hand. It felt like sparks. I looked at Luke to see if he felt it. He was giving me the same look. Weird.

We walked out of the restaurant hand in hand, smiling like we were love birds. We past Cayden "bye brother! See you at home!" Luke laughed as we walked out

"Oh my gosh his face was priceless!" I laughed as we got into the car.

"Where to princess?" He smiled at me and for some reason it didn't bother me that he called me princess

I opened my mouth to speak when my phone went off. I looked down to see who it was. Drew. I was about to answer it when my phone was taken from me. "Hey!"

"We are on a date. No phones!" Lucas said

"We are not! Let me see what he wants it could be important!" I complained

"Nope I will see what he wants." He slid the answer button over "hello?...... Lucas,....... What do you need we are on a date she can't talk right now......oh my gosh are you serious?....... We will be right there!" Lucas gave me a scared look As he hung up the phone.

"Lucas what's wrong?" I asked getting worried

He didn't say anything but floored the gas.

"Lucas! Slow down what happened!" I yelled

"Drew and Kilie are on the way to the hospital..... The ambulance had to come get Kilie." He said calmly

My heart stopped "I think I'm gonna be sick. PULL OVER!"

He did as he was told "Katie?"

I quickly opened the door and prepared my self as my stomach turned and everything that I had eaten today came out. I coughed a little and I herd Lucas jump out of the car and come to my aid. He helped me out of the car and held my hair. Once he saw I wasn't going to throw up again he pulled me into his embrace. "Are you ok Katie?"

"You called me Katie..." I said trying to lighten up the mood

"Your still my Princess." I looked up at him and couldn't help but smile. "Now come on let's go see your sister."

He helped me back into his car and we headed to the hospital the whole way there Luke kept his hand on my leg. As if he was making sure I was ok. When we finally got there we ran and met Drew at the door. His cheeks were pink and were faintly stained with tears.

"Drew what happened!" I asked needed get some answers

"We were at your house and there was on the knock on the door so she went to go get the door. I followed her just cause I was curious as to who would be knocking on the door that late, anyways she opened the door and I heard someone scream "you" then out of no where Arianna lunges at Kilie and Kilie fell back knocking her head on the side of the table by your door and then fell back and hit her head on the ground." He finished

I gasped at the story

"She was knocked out and hasn't woken up since, I called the ambulance and they told me not to try and wake her or move her. So I got rid of Arianna by telling her I was calling the cops. Then the ambulance came and took her. They said she fractured her skull and could have some possible brain damage."

"Oh my gosh!" I cried and coved my face with my hands. I felt someone bring me into their embrace. I instantly knew it was Lucas from the Sparks I felt from his touch.

He rubbed my head and 'shhh'-ed me trying to call me down. "Shhh...It's ok Princess, she's gonna be ok." He cooed

I broke out of his embrace and faced Drew "this is your fault! You shouldn't have let her open the door! You should have opened it! YOUR SUPPOSED TO PROTECT HER DREW!! And if you wouldn't have brought the psycho here none of this would have happened! This is your fault!" I yelled at him like in an attempt to calm down

"Where were you Katie?! We would have never even been at the house if it wasn't for you! Kilie was upset after seeing your little make out session with this jerk, so she asked me to take her home and watch a movie to cheer her up! Maybe if you wouldn't have hid your relationship from her and acted like a sister she wouldn't be in this mess!" Drew yelled at me causing me to crumble to the floor. Drew has never talked to me that way.

I saw his eye flicker to regret after he realized what he had done. "Katie I'm sorry! I didn't mean it!" He tried but Luke cut him off

"Just give her some time. It's neither of your faults. But I think you should leave." Luke said standing In Front of me blocking Drew from getting to me. Drew looked down at me

"Katie..." He tried but I looked away

I heard a loud bang. I looked up and saw where Drew just punched the wall. He walked off.

Luke picked me up from the ground Bridal style. He took me to what I guess is the waiting room. Stressed and overwhelmed I felt myself drift off to sleep.

"Kilie's family?" A man in a scrubs asked

Drew Lucas and I all stood up.

"Kilie is awake but she can only have visitors two at a time please. Room 617" the man said we thanked him the walked down to Kilies room.

I turned to Lucas "I'll be right back." He nodded as if he understood. I grabbed Drews arm. Even though he made me upset earlier I know he loves me and would never intentionally hurt me he was just worried and scared as I was when I yelled and blamed him for this. He squeezed my arm and looked at me before he opened the door and led Us in. Kilie was sitting in her bed watching something on Tv. She turned her head to us and looked at us confused.

"Hey Kilie how are you feeling?" Drew asked

She looked at us even more confused and spoke "who is Kilie? And who are you? I don't know you."
