The tray was overflowing with all her favorite sweets. She let out a squeal of delight, jumping up and throwing herself into Nirmaan's arms. She gave him a tight hug and kissed his right cheek, pressing her lips against his skin.
As she tried to pull back, Nirmaan's arms wrapped around her waist, holding her close. Her hands rested on his chest, and she felt a flutter in her heart.
"If I had known earlier, I would have made more preparations," Nirmaan whispered, his breath tickling her ear. He kissed the tip of her nose, and she blushed, burying her face in his chest.
"Sorry, Maan, for making you angry..." she whispered, her words muffled against his chest.
But Nirmaan's ears perked up at the sound of his name on her lips. "What did you say?" he asked, his voice low and husky.
"Sorry?" she replied, looking up at him with innocent eyes.
"No, what did you call me?" Nirmaan's eyes sparkled with excitement, and he made her look up at him.
She hesitated, unsure of how to respond. "Didn't you like it?" she asked, trying to deflect his question.
But Nirmaan didn't answer. Instead, he pressed his lips to hers, his kiss filled with passion and longing. She was taken aback by the sudden intimacy, but she couldn't help responding. Her hands crept up to the back of his neck, and her fingers tangled in his hair. Her other hand clutched his shirt, holding him close.
As they broke apart, panting and breathless, Nirmaan's eyes burned with intensity, piercing through hers like a flame. "I LOVE YOU, BIWI," he whispered, his voice husky with emotion, his words dripping with sincerity. "You're the sugar to my sweet, the rhythm to my heartbeat, the missing piece to my soul." His gaze devoured hers, as if he was drinking in the sight of her, his love for her radiating like a palpable force. "Forever and always, my love, my everything."
Subi's eyes widened in shock, her face frozen in surprise. But deep down, she felt a spark of joy and excitement, knowing that she felt the same way.
