Ext. The lake- after Lexi leaves

Cameron and Paris walk around the lake. Cameron has a button shirt on and nice pants. Paris tries to hide her hand with her jacket. Cameron notices.

Cameron

So, Paris, what's your story?

Paris

My story? My CP one?

Cameron

Your whole one.

Paris

Well, I'm not that interesting. I was diagnosed with my CP when I was two and had a stroke when I was two weeks old. My hand has been like this ever since. And then when I was six I got into art and sketching.

Cameron

Wow, that's tough. Your CP, I mean. I was six also when I got interested in art. I'm not that good, though.

Paris

Everyone's good at their art, but they probably haven't reached their full potential.

Cameron

Do you think so?

Paris

Yeah. You just gotta practice.

Cameron

It's just my drawing sucks so much. I kind of stopped drawing. It's hard.

Paris

Never give up on art. Especially when you love it.

Scene:

Suddenly Camoran smiled at Paris brightly.

Paris

What?

Cameron

You just have these cool ideas about art and sketching, and it amazes me.

Paris

Well, I've been drawing since I was seven. I had an art class of course, but I just loved drawing in my free time.

Cameron

You've been drawing for ten years? That's amazing.
