I live on the same street as max, yeah max mayfield that hot ass ginger girl. I have a MASSIVE crush on her but only my sister Nancy knows that.

every single day I come home walking with max from school and we hang out a bit, today wasn't different we are currently in front of the sidewalk of her house me just listening to music while she skate around

"hey y/n!!!" max said taking my headphones out

"what?" I replied

"can I help you learn to skate?" she said

"no, no and no I'm the clumsyest person I've ever met I'll probably die" I said

"Stop being so dramaticcc, oh come on y/n I'll be here with you" she said giving me the puppy look that always works

"okay fine I will but if I die I'll kill you" I said giving a serious stare at her making her laugh

"here get on the skateboard" max said before helping me get on the skate

then she started teaching me and I actually learned, I didn't fell anytime

"here, now go alone" max said and I started skating by my own

it was a great feeling, I felt kinda free I don't know, but it was this super cool feeling until I heard

"Y/N THE ROCK STOP" max yelled, I turned around to see what she was talking about and right when I turned around a huge rock came under the wheels making the skate turn over, and making me fly to the asphalt street which made me feel a sharp extreme pain on my knees and elbows, it was a surreal pain

max pov

I was watching proudly while y/n skated, that girl learn things so fast it was all fun and games until I saw a huge rock on the direction she was going but she was so far for me to stop her

"Y/N THE ROCK STOP" I yelled but she didn't stopped she turned to look at me which made her pass over the rock and she literally flew what looked like miles away

I ran over to her as fast as I could, there was no way she would fly this high and not be hurt, just when I approached her I noticed that she was with a tear stained face, which scared the shit out of me. She never ever ever cry in front of people she's probably in excruciating pain

"you okay?" I said checking her body for anything hurt when I looked that not only the floor was soaked with blood, my clothes were too while her both knees were bleeding non stop and her elbows all scratched

"I- it's hurting so b-bad max" she said in middle of some sobs

I took a look over her knee and it was worse than I thought, I was never hurt this bed I don't know how to deal with this. I think I should take her home, her mom will know what to do

"let's go to your house come on" I said helping her get up, the more she tried not to cry she cried harder

we quickly arrived her house and I only saw Nancy she has a worried looked at her face when she heard her sister crying, it was probably something that never happens, Nancy quickly ran to us

"what happened, OH MY GOD Y/N" Nancy said when she saw the bloody knee

"mom is not home I'll have to deal with that, thanks max" Nancy said to me

"NO, no don't leave max don't don't" y/n said grabbing my hand

"okay then, come here max" nancy said before placing y/n on the kitchen counter

I sat behind y/n on the counter and hugged her from behind still not leaving her hand

Nancy came with the first aid kit and opened it grabbing a desinfectant wipe

"so, I will need to clean first or else I won't be able to see where is the actual cut, max please hold her this is going to sting" Nancy said and then she sniffling y/n came back to sobbing y/n again

"shh it's alright baby is alright" I said trying to comfort her

then Nancy started to clean her knee and I felt y/n body her heavier and she was passing out

"no, no no fuck stay awake y/n stay awake, NANCY HELP ME" I said starting to panic, did I just killed the girl I like the most on the world? I wish she liked me back, y/n is literally the prettiest girl I've ever seen sometimes I wish I could just kiss her already

"it's okay max, I will finish here and she will wake up soon, you can stay overnight if you want I bet she will be more comfortable if she wake up with you" Nancy said while cleaning her wounds and taking out some pieces of rock from her bloody knee

"okay" I replied

minutes later Nancy already bandaged her and she told me that everytime when y/n was younger and she got hurt she would pass out since her pain tolerance was really low

nancy helped me got her to her room and now I'm sat with her in my arms on her bed while I read some comics. Then I felt something moving and I look down to see my bestfriend waking up

"mornin" I said

"hi, um what happened?" she replied with a raspy voice

"you fell on my skateboard and hurt yourself, Nancy already took care of you" I replied and she smiled

"thanks for being with me"

"it's okay, wanna read it too?" I asked she nodded and I started to read it out loud

some minutes later she interrupted my reading

"max I got to tell you something"

"anything babe" I said and saw her cheeks got red at the pet name

"I- um- we- actually- I"

"just say you like me already so we can kiss" I said and her eyes widened

"h-how do you know?"

"because I like you too...:"
