Intro of the book.

The way this book was narrated it felt like I was the protagonist. 0.0

In the books when narrating they use phrases like:

she went to the library but this author used you went to the library instead.

So, that's- interesting and different.

Plot: Storyline

* Chapter 1: the protagonist- I guess in this case that would be me, life seemed to be going great for me.  I got the perfect boyfriend. He's Handsome, smart, and sweet, gives me the password to his phone, and doesn't look at other girls. I tried sharing the news with my friends and family but they all seemed suspicious of him. That's when it all came crashing down.

Let me use a TikTok trend to sum it all: Denial is a river in Edgept my boyfriend is Ga-

*Chapter 2: A troubled kid in a broken home. Who did everything he could to survive and protect and provide for his sister?  No matter what wrong things he did to get the money. (warning mention of abuse)

Chapter 3: A retired officer turned from protecting his country to theorising it, and with the help of his son, he blackmailed.

* Since this is a one-shot story you can read them in any way.

Writing style.

A pretty decent writing style.
A few grammatical mistakes here and there but can be fixed by editing it.

Overall

An African-based Short story book, in Nigeria to be specific. It's sad and intriguing.

It's nice to read a book that isn't based in America or Britain.  Although there are some slangs that I didn't know, I had to google them but that's alright.
