Enough

Mikasa: What did you say!?

Mikasa ripped you out of Levi's grasp, forcing you to your feet 

You: The past shifters came to a collective decision. I will inherit all of the nine titans, reuniting Ymir with her brother, then die

Mikasa: Who cares about their decision!? It's not their life-

You: MIKASA!!

You tore her hands off of you and stared at her with a look of dread

You: I'm just trying to save you...A paradis devil is going to sacrifice herself so you can all live the rest of your lives in peace. You won't have to fight Eren or anyone else! So just stay back and let me do this!

Without a word Armin suddenly snatched your wrists and dragged you out of the harbor despite your protest 

You: Armin! Armin! Let go of me!

He ignored you and dragged you into an empty room on the ship before letting go of your wrists 

Armin: I'm sorry...I know you don't want me to touch you and I know looking at me isn't any easier. But I won't let you move on with this plan

He went to the open window in the corner of the room and closed it, keeping his back facing you as he waited for your reply 

You:...Why?

Armin: Do you really need me to explain it to you? I don't care what the past shifters told you. All this time they've been telling you to die so they could hide the truth, now they want to use you to pay for their sins

You: This isn't about their sins, it's about saving you and stopping the rumbling!

Armin: So sacrificing yourself is the only way!? Do you truly believe I'll just stand aside and watch you go!?

You: You lied straight to my face before you went off and sacrificed yourself. At least I'm telling you so we can properly say goodbye to each other! 

Every inch of him wanted to turn around in that moment but he forced himself to stare out the window, his fists balled at his sides as he lowered his head to the ground 

Armin:...Forget this plan

You gasp in frustration and stomped towards him 

You: Even if I live, I'm going to have to live without you anyway, so just-

Armin: Y/n I said no!

He slammed his fists onto the wall making you gasp and jump back. He turned around to face you and closed the distance between you in three large strides 

Armin: When Annie turned into a Titan...I watched you die before my eyes and...not a moment later you were standing next to me! 

Flash Back

Armin: The way she was acting...she must've seen through us right away, she knew we were gonna ambush her underground, there must be some other way then... and Y/n almost-

Mikasa: She's gone after everything we've been through...but we'll have time to think about that later. What should we do now?

Armin: What? 

He turned to his right and saw you running beside him 

Armin: But she's...right there...

Moments later

Eren: Yeah, we can avenge Y/n that way

Armin quickly looked to his right again in search of you but didn't see you, causing his chest to swell, he quickly turned to his left and found you staring at him in silence, he sighed in relief as the swelling in his chest began to fade
