Ash- Strange Encounters

"Ash, are you up yet?"  My sister yells from outside my room. I open my eyes and lay quiet for a moment then I hear her footsteps run down the stairs. I slowly peel the blanket off and sit up, I reach over to grab my phone but notice I forgot to plug it in last night meaning it would be low battery. I put my feet on the floor and stand up, I head to my closet and I put on my clothes quickly. I leave my room and head into the bathroom I wash my face and examine myself the mirror. I sigh quietly than brush my hair out of my eyes, I head back into my room to find my shoes, when I enter I see a little paper bird sitting on my bed I grab it and toss it in the trash. I find my shoes by my desk and put them on. Suddenly I feel eyes on me I turn around quickly and scan my room but it was empty as strange as it seems it felt almost normal. "Hurry up!" My sister yells from downstairs "Okay I'm coming!" I yell in response.

I walk quickly down the  stairs to find my sister in the kitchen with some toast I walk over to the counter to grab my papers I notice a picture of two babies and between them is a girl who looked about ten, I recognize the babies as me and Star but who's older girl. I look over at Star, who's putting her hair up now. "C'mon Star" I say sarcastically my bag already slung over my shoulder. I head towards the living room and I hear Star hurry to get ready behind me. I glance at the clock that reads 7:30 "Star we need to leave!" I say almost yelling."Hang on I'm almost done" She says.

    Suddenly she runs towards her bag that lies beside the door. I walk out the door, seeing the morning sun is almost blinding but I just ignore it and keep walking, Star close behind starts shuffling in her bag. 

As we're halfway to school Star practically yells something"Their not here Ash!" I sigh and turn my head to see her "What's not here?" I ask "The movie tickets,  "But we'r almost to school and we're already running late." Her shoulders drop at my words "Please Ash, I won't bother you the rest of the day" I stare at her knowing it's a lie because she has a habit of forgetting things so why would she remember this? I reach in my pocket and grab my key to the house then drop it in her hand."Run back and get them, but hurry Mrs Nauli hates when kids ar..." But before I can finish Star was already halfway down the street running quickly.

While I wait I slip off my bag and grab my hat, then put it on to hide my dark  hair. A few minutes pass and I let my mind wonder....

The sirens were in the distance and they were only getting closer. "Ash I'm scared!" "Don't be we didn't do anything wrong!" I say loudly so she can hear me over the sirens. " This way you two!" Katie yells loudly at us then runs toward the edge of the building getting ready to jump to the next rooftop"

A kid pushes past me on the street and I snap back to reality "What?, No think of something else Asher." I whisper to myself quietly I stand up straight and look around for Star but sitting on top of  a nearby building sat a girl looking straight at me she was wearing a black jacket, dark jeans, and a black mask.

Star comes running up to me."Okay, I'm ready," she says breathing heavily then hands me my key back. "Ash why do you look like you've seen a ghost?" She says holding back her laughter " You see her too, right?" I say looking at Star, pointing to the building. Star looks at me giggling, "Ash you really have gone crazy," She says.  I look over to to where the girl is-was?! What but she was just there a second ago. "Come on crazy slowpoke!" Star yells halfway down the street next to our school building. I quickly start my way toward her when someone pushes me down...
