When I'm With You

Chapter 49

Everything here is called in the exact opposite term. The castle is called a hotel and the hotel is called a restaurant.

I saw a man at a far end table waving at me. I slowly raised my hand and waved, doubting whether he was waving at me or anyone else.
I made sure he is Mr. Gilbert.

"Thank you." I thanked the women who brought me this far.

The closer I got to him, the faster my heart beat. Another person was sitting in the chair in front of him. As I approached the table, Mr. Gilbert asked me to sit down.

"Good morning Chris, take your seat." He gestured.

I sat on the chair and smiled at the person sitting on the other side of him.

"Hi. Nice to meet you." He extended his hand to me with a smile.

"Hello, nice to meet you sir. Good morning sir, Mr. Gilbert." I wished them both together.

After a couple of seconds of silence, Mr. Gilbert spoke up, "Chris, this is Jose Lun, owner of Gloss."
I looked at Mr. Lun and shook my head.

"Mr. Lun, this is Chris. The hero of my new movie."

The way Alexander Sir addressed me surprised me and gave me goosebumps.

"Wow. So you are a new face. I expect a lot from the movie." Mr. Lun said with wide eyes.

I don't know what to answer him. I nodded and smiled.

I feel as if I have come to attend an interview. I have that much nervousness.

"Mr. Gilbert has been talking about you all this time. He was telling me the story of the first time you met him.” Mr. Lun looked at Sir Alexander.

Our encounter was not so good.

"Okay. Now that you know everything about him, let's get down to the topic." Alexander sir changed the subject as if he understood my state of mind.

"You said, but in Chris, I don't see what you said. You told me all this time that Chris would talk a lot. He is being silent." Mr. Lun asked skeptically to Mr. Gilbert.

"It's not because he's a little nervous.” Sir Alexander patted my shoulder and tried to dispel my fear.

"It's my first time in such a big hotel. I don't even know why you called me. I'm a little nervous about it." I looked at both of them in a low voice and told them the reason for my fear.

"Hey.. I'm the same as Alex. You keep cool. We didn't call you to tell you anything to get in trouble." Mr. Lun said with a loud laugh.

Are these two serious?

"Okay sir." I said a little relaxed.

"Let's get down to business then." Mr. Lun sat stiffly in his chair and said.

I could see some seriousness on Alexander Sir's face too.

"Chris, I've known Alexander for many years, since college. He chose film as a career path, while I chose business. We both standing high in our respective fields. Since my company makes cosmetic products, I often call Alex to select models. So..that being said, I have started a new brand Gloss.
