Chris's POV :
I quickly rushed out of the hotel. By that time she had walked a long way and I quickly ran and held her hand from behind.
Her feet were not touching on the floor firmly. She looked at my face and smiled with a devilish expression. Both my cheeks were stretched.
"I love twin babies."
"Where did you see twin babies?" I forcefully took her hands away from my cheeks.
"You... and you.." She caressed the air as if someone is standing next to me.
I lowered her hand and looked around.
As it is night, people are going back after work. Many people noticed us. I felt many people's gazes on us.
If we stay here, the problem will get worse, so I should take Rishma home as soon as possible.
I grabbed her arms and walked back.
Walked back?
Yes, she is drunk and forgot her path, she walked down the wrong path.
"I'm not a twin. Let's go back to home." I said walking furiously.
"Then why do I see you as a double?" She walked with me scratching her eyes.
"Because you're drunk." I looked forward and said without even looking at her face.
"Go slowly.. My stomach hurts." She said in a childish voice.
I squeezed my eyes and bite my lower lip.
We left the hotel with stomach full, and besides, her legs are so short, she doesn't keep the same distance as I do.
I took slow steps. She walked slowly with her wobble legs.
"Sorry." I apologized.
The cold wind freezes me. By the time I walk home slowly, step by step, I will be covered in ice. This cool wind is caressing my wounds soothingly. I forgot all my pain.
I closed my eyes and enjoyed the breeze.
"Uhmm..." I hummed, I feel like I'm free now. I inhaled that vivid scented breeze.
Free?
I quickly opened my eyes and looked at Rishma who was next to me.
I freed her in between.
My heart forgot its job for a moment. My eyes searched around for her.
"Rishma." I called out loud. I walked through the crowd looking for her.
I hummed for something she asked me while I'm enjoying the cold breeze.
"Rishma..." I shouted again from the crowd. I pushed people away and looked for her all over the place. "Tiny...." my voice cracked. I feel like I started breathing heavily.
