Rio Soliván thought her life could be described as relatively normal. She did what she had to do to survive. Sure, it made her lay awake at night, unable to comprehend the actions As if she was peeling back layers of skin and revealing the darkest parts of herself.
Yet.
Wasn't everyone willing to take the life of another if under the right circumstances?
Wasn't everyone willing to end the world, and anyone who got in their way, for the people they love?

okay so this is like one of the first fan fictions I've wrote where I've almost finished the entire novel before publishing. yeah I've spent a lot of time on this lol. I don't expect it to get a lot of reads necessarily, but I hope those that do read it enjoy it. while writing this, I incorporated a lot of the energy from Young Justice, Arcane, Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse, and the new Batman. SO I hope you get that from this novel.

also I'd like to mention, when not with the Team or members of the Team, Rio is usually speaking Spanish. But I'm not going to switch back and forth from Spanish to English, so I'm going to make it English for the convenience of readers. But I'll try to indicate when she's speaking Spanish.

timeline, dates, ages, and events may differentiate slightly, but I will try my best to stick to it. (meaning it will rarely differ but if it does, you'll know).
oh okay shit there is one difference, I aged up Jason Todd by a year. and I aged up Damian and Jon too, because I'm mad at how they dealt with them in Young Justice, but they are not really that relevant yet. as of this point, they are both born in 2013 (not plot relevant at all, just would hypothetically effect a few scenes in YJ but literally does not affect the plot)
