The girls then took their break, they talked about the things they have watched before it and wondered about what they will be watching next. After the 10 minute break was done, they went back into the theater and sat back down

We see animation drawing the number 80 as a number line is shown. The speaker's voice is heard

"The average lifespan of a Union citizen is 80 years (2015), and an 80 year old today was 10 when World War II ended. Four when it began" The speaker says as we see the line go back all the way from 2015 to 1940-45

"A soldier who saw battle would have to be in his late 80's at least today; generals, political leaders, the decision makers of the war, few are still with us" The speaker says as we see many many leaders and military people

"Over the past few decades we've seen authors, and filmmakers rush to capture stories from survivors before this connection of memory is lost" The speaker says as the scene focuses to Gerhard Sommer who was 24 when the war ended and 94 in 2015

"Interesting.." August Von Parseval says

"This project is not about individual war stories, and it's not about survivors. We're going to tally up the tens and millions of people whose lives are cut short by the war and see how these numbers stack up to other wars in history, including trends in recent conflicts" The speaker states
