Under the snow

Slow moment of standing in the park, snowflakes flying from grey sky, only sound of a wind blowing off a thin cover of the snow on the ground.
Every part of my body is burning and freezing at the same time, feeling that drives me insane.
Why do I exist?
The question. I hear it all the time in my head, yet the words feels so unreal.
Why do I exist?! Taking deep breath, falling on the ground.
I want to lie here. My instincts are trying to stop me, but it is too late.
The snow. It is so soft. It feels so nice. Closing my eyes. I can only hear my own heartbeat slowing down. Everythin feels infinite.
I want to sleep... The white freezing blanket feels so calming. It feels like mother hugging her child.

Hug... Me...

Please...

One single tear freezing on the cold face.
Snow was slowly falling on the body, covering it, hugging it carefully, but tight.

It was a tear of joy.

But who knows if the afterlife will be better?
