In the modern era, the emergence of what is known as the UCA or the United Clan Alliance has somewhat been the most influential group of governance in rthe world. Though meant to be established as a subsidiary to the UN, due to the UCA Member Clans' overpowering influence in their respective countries, over the years, it has surpassed the UN itself. And at the very top stands the Council of Seventeen, headed by the two most powerful clans in the world— the Fieralde Clan from the Philippines, and the Seijoh Clan from Japan.
