CHAPTER 49- MAKING THINGS RIGHT

it's finally our last day here, and to those days has left i tried to leave this place but pilot rey didn't let me he wants me to be one to drove all of them back in manila. and maybe this is also the right time and last time so i agreed

"i hope so blane" i looked at beside me when someone is shouting our name from a far

"blane ael!!" there is krystal waving her both hands to the both of us we both chuckled at niyakap ito

"anong among pinagsasabi mo?" natawa ako at tumingin sa likuran niya there is daisy looking at her with margot talking to sapphire, she looks good with her one piece red swimsuit wala itong cover up kaya yung mga stuff na andito lang na nakakalat ay napapatingin saming lahat dito

"your girlfriend" blane answers playfully

"amo your face ako amo samin no" napailing ako, and i look everywhere

"andon si elara kausap si nikki, yung pinsan ni margot kasama si creed" nanlaki ang mata ko

"creed is here?" i asked shocked tumango naman sila

"kakasunod lang, after the guys told him you are here" krystal blurted out "after this.. babalik ka naba agad ng aus?" she asks sadly

i nodded "mm i have to" i told her and pat her head

"what about you blane?" she asks blane na tumango din

"may life is already there" she says "don't worry kryst every year i'll visit you here"

"you should be, dahil malapit nakong ikasal" nanlaki ang mata naming dalawa ni blane when she showed her ring to us

"she propose to you?!" blane ask na kinailing ng isa habang tumatawa

"i did" she giggled

"congratulations krystal i'm so happy for you" i genuinely smile at her kaya tumawa ito at hinigit kami pareho ni blane, blane and i smiled widely seeing our bestfriend so happy

i wish i can also be like that

"what are you a kid? come here" blane held my shoulder and guide me to sit again "this is so easy ael, tansyahin m--" she was cut off at napalayo sakin when someone butt in, i stiffen when i felt someone my back guiding my hands

"press this carefully" she guides my hand and held my legs to trigger the speed "careful, i'll handle her enjoy the ktv" my eyes widen when she starts the egine at umadar ng mabilis tong ktv na sinasakyan ko dahilan para mapatili ako "ssh don't worry, i'm here." i heard her whisper softly while she's chuckling

"just press it carefully you're with me, i won't get you in trouble" she said assuring me, my body froze thinking that she's the one who's on my back

"this is so relaxing" she said out of nowhere

napatingin ako sa likod, and to my suprise hindi kona mamataan yung mga kasama namin napalayo na pala kami masiyado "h-hey masiyado na tayong malayo" i says worrying

she just shrugged "thats what i want, eyes on road aelia" she command

"bring me back there sapphire, a-ayokong may maisip sila--"

"can you shut up just this once?" inis na sabi neto at nagtaka pako when she stopped the ktv motor beside the road, she let go off me at tumayo

i saw how she brushed her hair frustradely "don't you remember how we became friends before?" she calmly asked, i leaned on the ktv motor and looked at her "i want us to be back like that, you not avoiding me and just talking like a usual" she said

"we once to be friends aelia, and tomorrow aalis kana ulit you can forget me forget your sister again forget that once in a lifetime we happen to be a thing, you're coming back to your life aelia to your b-boyfriend.." she bite her lip unconciously, my eyesbrow creased "so let me have this day to be your friend again.. please?" i gulp at napaiwas ng tingin

"can we do that?" she softly asked and my heart skipped a beat when i felt her hands holding mine "ael.." she whispered

"just this day.. please" she begged i stare at her in a minute her eyes is full hope wala sa sariling hindi ko ito and pulled her shoulder

i hugged her so tight

"did i offend you again?" i sadly asked "i'm sorry safira.." i caress her back

"you always offend me thought" mataray netong sagot dahilan para mapatawa ako ng mahina

nagulat pako because how my laugh sounds so good this time

"i miss your laugh silly.. thats a real one" she whispered

"it is safira of course" i answer

how come she's the only person who can ease me like this? this is bad

"let's make things right just for today then" i said, and thats final for today i'll show my real self i'm allowing myself to be happy just like before

just for today, i'm stopping all the burden and the walls i create for her. just for today i'll be her frenemy again
