I opened one of my boxes and started taking my shoes out.
Josh: how many pair of shoes do you have? Mads: not important. Bryce: see a lot of stuff aka junk. Mads: you're just calling my shoes junk 'cause I called your crap junk. Bryce: my stuff isn't crap and it isn't junk. The amount of shoes you have is crap. Mads: well excuse me, I'm a girl and us girls collect shoes, even though I'm pretty sure guys do that too. Anthony: yeah they do. Mads: see.
I emptied the box of shoes and started matching them.
Josh: that is a lot of shoes. Mads: yeah a lot of beautiful shoes. Bryce: if you say so. Mads: shush! Riley: alright this is the last box. Bryce: why do you have so many boxes? Mads: because I can. I packed all of this by myself so it took almost all night. Bryce: so we should let you unpack all of this by yourself. Josh: stop being a douchebag. Bryce: I'm not. Indiana: I brought coffee. Mads: give.
She handed me a cup.
Riley: alright we gotta go to work. Bryce: y'all going to leave us here to unpack all of this ourselves? Indiana: uh yeah. Bryce: uh no. Mads: here.
I pulled out a twenty and gave it to him.
Bryce: twenty bucks that's it? Mads: that's all I have on me right now. I'll be back around six.
I gave Josh a quick kiss then left with Indiana and Riley.
Riley: it's kinda weird seeing you and Josh together now. Mads: I'm glad we don't have to keep it a secret anymore. Indiana: when did you and Josh start you know...hooking up? Mads: the day him and Griffin came over so he can talk to me. Riley: so it wasn't that day you got extremely drunk? Mads: no...I just kissed him. Indiana: you never told us that!
Mads: because I know y'all, you guys take whatever I say and run with it. Riley: I would say that's not true but it is. Mads: mhm. Indiana: so all those times you left for the night, you were with Josh? Mads: yep and when I said I was with Amira or Kenzie, I was with Josh. Riley: then how come every time I asked them they said you were with them or you just left. Mads: 'cause I asked them; they were the only ones that knew about Josh and I, probably Vinnie and Griffin too. Indiana: how come you told them before you told us.
Mads: because I needed advice and you guys are just- I don't want your advice. Indiana: well fuck you then. Mads: keeping what we had a secret was great though...it made it feel special like it was just us. Indiana: I will say well done keeping it a secret especially from the internet. Riley: you guys are really cute together though but if he hurts you I might have to kill him. Mads: hopefully it doesn't have to come to that.

Mads: alright bye. Riley: bye.
I unlocked the door and I walked in.
Josh: hey. Mads: hey, I didn't expect y'all to be done. Josh: y'all? He left after you left. Mads: so you did all of this by yourself?! Josh: yeah. Mads: you didn't have to. Josh: it's fine 'cause now you're officially living with me. Mads: I love you.
I kissed him then hugged him.
Josh: you wanna go for a walk? Mads: sure why not?
We walked outside and started walking around the neighborhood.
