I've always taken after my mother, from wavy blond hair to occasional childish behavior, though not as erratic. My sister and I don't clash well, as she takes after dad and prefers our mother. I love our mom, of course, but I don't let it get in the way of my relationship with Charlie.
Though we always fight, we know each other so well that we become dependent. So, when Bella finds a boyfriend who I happen to have befriended his sibling, we are sucked into a paranormal world of things much bigger than ourselves.
A couple seems to take interest in me as well, which causes a whole other obstacle as I chase after my unusually reckless sister and her brooding boyfriend. And maybe, just maybe a clueless supernatural boy.
All I know is that between starting anew, sibling problems, high school, and dating, I can't keep up. I never expected to have to talk with my socially awkward father about my romantic preferences, but it has come up, and there are only so many secrets I can keep.
