I put in my earphones and jammed out to my favorite songs. I had just finished unpacking my things and I decided to take a break. It was already 11:52 and my Aunt said she would show me around in the afternoon. I was doodling too, drawing simple things like animals, plants, people, the usual. I was adding a few details to the fur of the dog I was drawing, when I heard a knock on the door. I took off my headphones.
"Come in!" I said
The door opened, and my Aunt peeped in.
"Hey (N/N)! Its almost time for lunch, I was thinking we could go out early so that I can show you around" Aunt Dorene said happily
"Sure thing! I'll be out in a bit, I just need to get ready a little" I said with a smile
"Okay dear, I'll be waiting in the living room" My Aunt said, nodding and closing the door.
I then kept my headphones in the drawer and put my sketchbook on the desk. I then combed my hair and fixed it into a [insert hairstyle]. I looked at the mirror and smiled, I was ready to meet new people.
I exited my room and went downstairs to see Aunt Dorene reading a book while waiting.
"I'm ready Aunt Dor!" I said cheerfully
"Oh! Good!" She said looking up from her book with a smile
"What are you reading?" I asked curiously, because she seemed very focused earlier
"Oh, it's just a normal xreader love story" My aunt said with a smug smile
"O-Oh I see" I said smiling awkwardly
Aunt Dorene giggled, put the book down, and stood up.
"Alright, let's go, I have so much to show you" Aunt Dorene said excitedly
"Well what are we waiting for? Lets go!" I said, trying to match her excitement
Aunt Dorene and I exited the house, She locked the door and put the key in her pocket. The both of us walked across the street, to a cozy looking café. Aunt Dorene opened the door, making the bell above us make a small chiming sound. I looked around

I looked around to see a man at the counter waving at us, he looked about 30
"Hey Jake! Good to see you too" Aunt Dorene said, approaching the counter, I followed her
