I was unloading my things from my car, it was a warm morning, and I just arrived at my Aunt's house. I was a little nervous, not just about meeting my aunt after a long time, but all of this. Living in a new place, living with someone, especially one I haven't seen in a long time.
I put my luggage on the ground and looked ahead. The sky was clear blue, not a single cloud was to be seen. The sun shone brightly and the rays poured through the tree branches like soft rain. I tried to make the most of it and took in the scent of the small town. It smelled surprisingly....relaxing and cozy. I never knew the ground smelled fresh.....am I weird?
"(N/N)!!!!" A familiar voice called
I whipped around to find my Aunt waving from her house window, I nervously waved back with a smile. She then disappeared from her spot, after a while she came out of her door.
"(N/N) dear! Its so good to see you again! OH MY GOOD HEAVENS YOU'VE GROWN SO MUCH!!!" Aunt Dorene squealed as she approached me. She then gave me a big warm hug. I hugged her back
"I-Its good to see you too Auntie!" I said with a smile
She then let go and pinched my cheeks
"Aww look at you, you've grown prettier!" My Aunt said, looking at my face with a warm expression
I laughed nervously and she let go
"Well come inside dear! You'll get a fever if you stand in this heat!" Aunt Dorene said
She helped me with my luggage, carrying a few boxes and managed to open the door for me
