chan turned back to hyunjin, the two silently and secretly, so their friend wouldn't notice, celebrating at the progress between the pair.

after all, minho was one huge hopeless romantic.

even more so when it came to jisung.

"okay everyone," professor ryu smiled as he'd reached the final slide of his presentation. "any questions, don't hesitate to email me or even stay behind. otherwise, you are free to leave and head to your last few classes of the day."

the theatre once again broke out into conversation as people left, no one in the back row daring to try and step over the four at the end who were for some reason still seated.

chan and hyunjin slowly stood up, their hands dropping as they began to gather all their things.

"you coming, minho?" hyunjin asked sarcastically as minho hadn't moved an inch in the last thirty five minutes.

"no." minho answered, "but could you do me favour and take the laptop off my leg? i don't want jisung to accidentally knock it and then feel bad if it falls."

chan smiled as he nodded.

"sure." he quietly chuckled, carefully lifting it off minho's lap as continuously instructed.

"you skipping?"

"nah, i'll wake him up in a minute." minho replied as he kept his attention on the sleeping boy.

"you got it." hyunjin spoke as he took chan's hand and began leading him in the other direction to walk out the row.

as they neared the doors, the two turned round to wave though minho had refused to even tilt his head to see them off.

as the doors loudly shut, minho cursed his friends as jisung slowly stirred.

minho held his breath as jisung only wriggled slightly before letting out another yawn and lifting his hands to his face to hide it behind them.

the older had to press his lips together as he tried to hold back a very out of character squeal.

unfortunate as it may be, minho knew he'd have to wake the younger up.

"...jisung?" minho called, lightly patting the boy's knee.

jisung let his eyes flutter open, yawning again as he slowly lifted his head to realise the room was empty.

"oh shit," he laughed as he slowly turned his head side to side. "is it home time?"

"not quite," minho shyly smiled. "the lecture ended like a couple minutes ago, i just thought you'd wanna sleep a bit more, but i also didn't wanna let you sleep in case you didn't wanna miss class, so i guess i kinda met in the middle? sorry, i wasn't sure which you wanted."

jisung only smiled wider as he met minho's eyes.

"okay." a small laugh sounded as jisung rolled back his shoulders and tilted his head back, missing how minho cursed under his breath for rambling like an idiot.

"i'm really sorry for falling asleep you on." jisung apologised. "and also making you miss the start of your next class."

"no, it's okay!" minho assured. "it's honestly fine, i'm usually late to history anyway because i can't stand the teacher."

jisung laughed at his response though gently waved his hand in dismissal.

"still, i guess that's two i owe you now."

minho tilted his head in confusion.

"...two?"

"well yeah," jisung shrugged. "i mean i hit you with a football, minho."

"oh yeah." minho chuckled as he slowly looked down at the floor.

"you didn't forget did you!?" jisung playfully gasped as he cupped minho's face and lifted it up to teasingly inspect him. "it didn't do that much damage, right!?"

"no, it didn't." minho rolled his eyes as he gently took jisung's hands from his face.

his eyes suddenly widened as he thought of an idea.

"but erm...i have a way you could make it up to me?"

"oh?" jisung asked with raised eyebrows, titling his head as he bit back a smile.

"well," minho cleared his throat. "if you let me take you out for dinner this friday, we can call it even."

the small silence caused minho to panic before jisung quickly nodded, his cheeks bunched up as he smiled.

"yes! i'd love to!" he assured as he rested his hand on minho's arm. "i-i can give you my number? and-and you can text me where you wanna meet? wherever is fine for you! i'd love to go on a date with you!"

for the first time ever, minho noticed jisung look shy.

"it...it is a date right?"

minho suddenly felt a wave of confidence at somehow making jisung shy.

"of course it's a date." minho grinned before his confidence immediately wore out. "as long as you're okay with it."

"i'm more than okay with it." jisung assured as he laughed. "...oh um-"

he rolled up minho's sleeve and grabbed a pen he'd spotted in minho's unzipped bag before quickly writing out his number on minho's arm.

"so that's it," jisung slowly met minho's eyes before he broke out into a flustered smile and hurriedly grabbed his bag.

"bye minho!" he called, waving at the older before near sprinting out of the lecture theatre.

chan and hyunjin turned to the door as minho walked in with the biggest smile the pair had ever seen.

"well hello there." hyunjin teased. "what kept you so long, hmm?"

"nothing." minho shrugged with a smirk. "by the way, i'm busy friday."

chan and hyunjin gasped as they noticed one of minho's sleeves were rolled up to his elbow, exposing something they could easily guess.

as the pair began gossiping to each other, minho ignored them as he lifted out his phone.

after creating a new contact, he turned off his phone and took one last look at his arm.
