It's been 2 years ever since the tragedy happened. Victor, who is now the region's surgeon and a CR employee
CR is a secret medical center used to treat patients of the Bugster Virus which it has spread to some countries
It has established itself in those specific countries and send some of their doctors to prevent the Bugster Virus if it ever going to be more dangerous than it had ever before
And the Galar region, has some patients who suffered from the Bugster Virus the most after they were eradicated from Japan and has now spread even further
Emu a CR's employee, came to Galar to aid with them to remove the Bugster Virus from the region as to save the people and it's future
Ever since Victor had lost his love one, he's determined to become the greatest doctor for her sake. He's currently in the CR'S room for the employees by stairs next to the elevator

He's spacing out in the room, having flashbacks of his girlfriend and himself that day
In the flashback, it was from 2 years ago and Victor is seen studying for his exams when Gloria came to give him sweets
"Hey, you've been focusing on that lately, why don't you take a break?"
"Like I said, I don't enjoy sweets that much,"
"Why not? Sugar can relieve your mind after stress,"
"Then don't give it to me, I know when I'll eat,"
"Just eat it!"
"I don't want to!"
"Here, say aah,"
"No!"
Victor got up and going away from her while she's following him around
Back to the present time, he sighs thinking about his relationship
"What did I do to deserve this..." He muttered with a sad voice
Till then, he was jumpscared by Emu and a girl with pink hair and yellow dress. He fell off the chair he was sitting on and looks back at them
"Poppy, Emu. Why'd you do that?!"
"What were you thinking earlier? You were spacing out for an hour,"
"Yeah, you looked sad when doing it,"
"That's none of your business,"
"That's the problem, you won't share your feelings to us,"
"Why would I do that?"
"So we can know what makes you happy,"
"I don't think happy is a good word for someone that was sad about something,"
