Some time later the gang left Kyoshi Island and made camp. The gang sat around a fire not saying anything, the events still fresh in their minds.

Kara: Arne?

He looks up them and they had worried looks while Aang had a mix of worried and anger.

Arne: If you have questions, ask.

Kara: What happened back there? We've seen how you fight

Arne: The attack it... (sighs) I felt like I was back there, the day are home was attacked. That man, worn the same armor as my father's killer.

Katara: Was that man your fathers killer?

Arne: No, but he wore the armor and symbol of his order.

Sokka: Order?

Arne then goes on the explain the war between the Assassins and the Templars and the brotherhood tenants. The gang were shocked.

Arne: I understand that it's a lot to take in.

Kara: It is.

Katara: What do the Templars want?

Arne: To rule the world with an iron fist, while the Brotherhood want freedom.

Sokka: How long has this war been going on?

Arne: Over a thousand years.

Aang: They didn't need to die.

They all look at Aang and Arne started to become irritated.

Arne: What?!

Aang: Those soldiers didn't need die, you could have found another way.

Arne: (scoffs) Didn't you not hear what I said.

Aang: It doesn't matter, it's still wrong. You and the Brotherhood are cold blood killers and your father!

Arne attempts to charge at Aang but was stopped by Kara.

Kara: Arne don't!

Arne then gets an idea and looks over at Sokka.

Arne: Sokka, were there scorch marks where Aang's friend was?

Sokka: No, why?

Arne then looks over at Aang.

Arne: Awnser me this, Aang. How did those Fire Nation Feige (Cowards) died?

Aang eye widen at the realization.

Arne: Even the most peaceful can be killers. If you mention my father again, I'll cut your tongue out and feed it to Muninn.

Arne then walks away from the camp.

Katara: Aang, why would say something like that?!

Aang: I didn't mean to bring up his father, but still it's the truth.

Sokka: Aang, this is war, people die in war.

Aang: You'r siding with him?!

Sokka: Yes. Even though I don't agree with his brutal methods, but I understand his reasoning.

Katara: Aang, when he was five his mother died from an illness and it was just him, his Uncle and his Father. A couple of years later Fire Nation attacked are home and killed his father, now its just him and his Uncle.

Sokka: And besides these Templar guys sound worse than the Fire Nation.

Kara gets up and walks away.

Katara: Where are you going?

Kara I'm going to check on Arne.

She then walks off to find him. Arne was on his knees in front of a creek.

Arne: Oh my son
Keep your feet amongst the path
Oh my son
Raging Seas will come to pass
Fear shall not deceive
As the lands be filled with shade

Oh my son
You will rise as king someday
Oh my son
Keep your feet amongst the path
Oh my son
Raging Seas will come to pass
Fear shall not deceive
As the lands be filled with shade
Oh my son

You will rise as king someday
Oh my son
Keep your feet amongst the path
Oh my son
Raging Seas will come to pass
Fear shall not deceive
As the lands be filled with shade
Oh my son

As he finished singing he heard a twig snap and sees Kara walking up and sat beside him.

Kara: That was beautiful.

Arne: It's a song my mother used to sing to me when a I was a child.

Kara: Are you okay?

Arne: I understand that he's only a child and has a huge responsibility, but that doesn't mean he gets to talk down to someone like me.

Kara: I understand, but did you have to bring up his friend?

Arne: He brought up my father, it seem fair to bring up his friend, even if it's true.

Kara: He's just a kid.

Arne: And a naive one! He needs to understand that in war it doesn't matter if your a pacifist or warrior! Especially the one I'm fighting.

The two sat there in silence for a moment.

Kara: You want me to stay with you for awhile?

Arne then turns to her.

Arne: Please.
