I was pretty tired from all the drama the day before. It was just more blood on my hands- and I was really sick of that. I rolled out of bed and landed on the floor. I cursed at myself and got ready for the day. The rest of the Unkillables were still sleeping in, so I thought I would take a nice morning stroll outside.

After going outside I noticed Schlatt sitting on a bench a little ways off. I sighed, really? Perhaps it was best to get onto some... better terms with him.

"Hey," He jumped back, startled. I rolled my eyes and continued, "Relax, I'm not going to kill you." The goat-hybrid eased up, but still kept his hand near his sword.

Jschlatt replied, "And why would I want anything to fucking do with you?" His words took me a moment to register, but they didn't surprise me after everything that happened the day before. I sighed.

"Listen, all that happened because I was between a rock and a hard place, okay? If it was up to me nobody would have to die, but that's just how it is. Speaking of which, how'd you get back down here anyway?"

"Drista let me come down for revenge," He paused. "I, admit... I might have made a mistake too. You see uhm, if I don't kill you that little shit takes me back to limbo."

"Oh." I wasn't sure how to process that information. I cleared my throat hastily, "How many times?"

"You'd let me kill you?"

"Seems only fair," I shrugged. "Don't know how canon that would be, though."

There was a moment of silence before he whispered, "Three times."

"Well there went that option," I chuckled. "Why don't you join us, Schlatt? If Drista wants chaos perhaps she will spare you."

"I'm not bludgeoning innocent people to death," He spat, "I already told you, I'm past all that."

"Yet you'll bludgeon me to death?"

"You're not innocent." He turned on his heel and walked away angrily. I was a little disappointed in his actions, no good would come from that. Either I die, or he dies. All the deaths and killing and dying was making my head spin to unruly places. The walk was supposed to clear my thoughts, not conflict them more.

I went back to the bunker and made some food for the boys. Over the past couple of months I'd grown especially close to all of them, particularly Dream. The two of us made quite the duo, and not just menacingly-wise either. In an alternate universe we'd be good friends, enjoying the sunshine and presence of each other. Reality could be awfully harsh sometimes.

"Good morning," The dirty-blonde boy yawned, his hair messy. "Punz is leaving after breakfast," He explained. "He's going on some quest to find the 'Ender Dragon.'"

"How interesting," I pretended to care about the slaughter of innocent creatures. I handed him some toast and eggs, "What about Techno? Is he staying?"

"Maybe for a day," He shrugged. "He's got potato farming to do though."

"How'd you find me the other day?" I questioned, "I'm sure all that wasn't a coincidence."

"Me and Punz were looking for you, so we split up." Dream told me, "I found you first and Punz joined a minute later with his ender pearls. As for Technoblade," My friend chuckled, "He was planning to visit and came across the skirmish. Voices want blood, they get blood."

"I suppose that makes sense," I fiddled with my thumbs. "Do you ever get the feeling that what we're doing is wrong? Everyone is terrified, living in fear. Cowering from us. Why not just let bygones be bygones and peace be peace?" I checked my words carefully in order not to trigger him.

"Where's this coming from?" He laughed, "But I tried the good method. I tried it for a long while back in Season One. Tommy.... he just couldn't stand it. They all brought this upon themselves." He muttered under his breath, "If he just said sorry and stopped the first time none of this would have happened."

"Did you ever tell him to say sorry?" My tone grew higher, "Maybe he never even knew that's what you wanted."

"It's too late now!" Suddenly it was like he was pleading, "Prison hardened my Y/n. When I died, when I used to have the revival book, my limbo was prison. I was living in my damn limbo!"

"AND HOW DO YOU THINK IT FELT WHEN I WAS IN MINE FOR TWENTY YEARS!" Silence. For a moment we came to an understanding for each other. The speedrunner went to his room and slammed the door like a child.

"What's all the commotion about?" Punz rubbed his eyes.

"The end of me being controlled."

804 Words! Ooo the longest chapter yet! This is my first time ever writing a Jschlatt x Reader, so please bare with me! Let me know if I should attempt it again in the future, like maybe him IRL. This is sort of a secondary book for me, so sorry if updates are slow!
