I repeated my previous actions before shooting the ball.
Only this time it went straight in getting all net.
I stared at the rim wide eyed as my team surrounded me.
"We going to the championship!!!" Casey shouted as they lifted me.
"Paris Paris pairs!" The team shouted causing a smile to form on my face.
I finally felt like I could breath again.
I did it.
... We did it.
Maybe my parents will be proud, maybe now I won't be just the problem child.
*
"Ahhhhh" Violet and I screamed in unison as ran out into the parking lot jumping into her arms.
"I'm so proud." She smiled as she held me up.
I tightened my grip around her, happy to hear those words.
Someone was proud of me.
"you were amazing out there!" Diggy exclaimed.
"Damn when you make it to the pros don't forget us." Roc teased.
"Yeah." Prodigy agreed
I chuckled as my attention sifted to Ray.
"You did good." I told me smiling slightly.
"Thank you." I breathed out.
I nodded simply before they began to pile into the car.
"There isn't enough space in this car, but Princeton drove in the other one." Violet told me.
I nodded.
"I'll ride with prince." Ray said.
"No I'll ride with him." I offered.
Ray looked at me skeptical for a moment before finally nodding.
"Okay." He agreed.
I walked alittle further down the parking lot before climbing into the car with Jacob.
"Hey." I said simply.
He said nothing as he pulled out of the parking lot.
I expected that. I knew he wouldn't talk to me.
But I am determined to get a reaction out of him.
"You know we still have to finish that project." I reminded him.
He remained quiet.
"Want to do a few more questions tonight?" I asked.
He shrugged his shoulders in a nonchalant way.
"Cool... I guess." I said.
"I want to take a quick shower first then you can come up to my room and we can do it there." I said.
Again he said nothing.
But he knew he was listening.
*
"Mama we won, we are going to the championship." I gloated.
"That's great honey." She said in an monotone.
She didn't even bother to look up from her tablet.
"Dad, you hear that? I carried the team to the championship." I repeated.
He held his finger up indicating for me to hold as he answered his call.
I sighed.
"Thanks for the support, I knew you would be proud."I mumbled as I headed to my room.

After my shower I put on my pajamas which consisted of shorts and a big tee.
Once I opened my bathroom door there sat Jacob on the edge of my bed.
"Oh hey." I said as I tossed my clothes into the bin.
Again he said nothing.
"You know you're going to have to talk to me for the project right?" I chuckled as I grabbed my notebook.
He swallowed hard as I took a seat next to him on the bed he quickly moved over.
Ouch.
"What's your mother's name?" I questioned pretending I didn't notice that.
"Theresa." He replied shortly.
I nodded writing that down. "What's your favorite sport?" I questioned.
"Basketball." He said simply.
I smiled.
"Mine too." I cheesed. "Well you already knew that side we clearly just came from my game." I chuckled feeling silly.
He said nothing, not even a smile.
"Okay." I breathed out trying to take the attention from the Awkwardness.
Paris: whats your favorite sport.
"You did good." He blurted out.
I looked up at him.
"In your game tonight, you did good." He Clarified.
I stared at him for a moment in disbelief... He actually thought I did good?
He chuckled slightly. "Don't seem so surprised." He smiled.
The butterflies in my stomach went wild as I took his beautiful smile.
I have never, ever seen him smile.
I would do anything in the world to keep that there.
He cleared his throat snapping me from my gaze.
"Sorry." I mumbled pushing my hair behind my ear as my cheeks reddened from embarrassment.
"Are we done?" He questioned.
"Oh." I said looking up as I watched him stand up. "Uh sure.." I said not knowing what he wanted to go all of a sudden.
He rushed to my bedroom door leaving out of it.
What?

Princeton(pov)
once i left out of Paris room I practically ran down to mine slamming the door.
I leaned against the wall trying to slow my breathing.
Her hair, her smile, her voice.
Just perfect.
She was perfection.
I have never even looked at a girl since my insident.
The insident that changed my life forever.
I just can't..
If I get close to Paris Id have to tell her what I did.
I know she won't understand, no one does.
But I promise I never meant to do it... It was an accident.
