Another hotel, yes my favourite. This time it's the Cecil Hotel, the place a woman was found in the water tower after guests had said their water was running black and other guests had said their water tasted weird. Thankfully we have been able to recover from the Biltmore Hotel, but I have a feeling that this night is going to be even crazier.
"What's up TFIL welcome back to our 25 weeks of haunted, abandoned, paranormal, exploration, adventure video series that we are on. I think we're beyond 25 weeks now, it's been longer. We have Josh with us again"
"I love these guys. I've been hanging out with them for a while now. The energy is great. I'm excited for tonight" Josh says pointing to us all
"If you can't tell we are at the Cecil Hotel and as far as know other than the ghost adventures team, we are the only other team besides them to get full-blown permission to have the entire building to ourselves"
"Every room" I say excitedly
"Yeah until sunrise everything except for floors two and three"
"What about the roof though?" Brandon asks
Everything. The fire escapes, the roof water tank every floor four to fourteen. There's even a basement here that we can get into" Elton tells all of us "tonight there's five of us so all right that's like oh 2 1/2 floors each something like that"
"Oh yeah, yeah 2.7" Corey nods his head
"It's pie actually" Elton jokes earning an eye roll
"Can we please go in"
"Thea is super excited. As I think she may have said before, she loves doing these sort of investigations. To make this video even more interesting and fun, because we have so much time here and we happen to know 2 well-known paranormal investigators in the area, Linda the ghost hunter will be joining us. Who's seen our videos and Patti who joined us at the Biltmore last video, they are both coming tonight and we are going to have 2 different investigations happen in the same building with two different
techniques to see kind of what the difference is, it's almost likean experiment. We of course also have Thea, who is also psychic. Patti has been helping her the last few weeks"
"I wonder who's gonna have the most energy"
"Well if Thea and Patti are together then that group probably will" Corbin replies to Josh
"We're going to split into 2 groups, they're going to pick teams. So Linda's going to pick 3 of us Patti's going to pick 3 of us and then Thea is going to choose who she goes with" Elton tells us all. Elton just gives us a little run down of the hotel, and the history of the deaths.
"Corey do you know this uh, the secret Cecile knock?" Elton asks. Corey walks to the front door and he and Corbin do a in sync knock. Next Josh does a one handed hand stand. The doors open and we make our way in
"It's so nice and warm in here, every building that we've been into has been like 7 degrees" Brandon jokes
"Let's go and check in" we follow Elton to the front desk where none other than Matt Rife is stood shirtless
"Welcome to the Hotel Cecil, where guests check in and things get a little bit spoo..." Matt is cut off by Elton throwing something at him "I was in the middle of something when you guys came in and I didn't think we had any guests for tonight. So, let's see room...." Matt turns around pretending to look for keys. The boys are all laughing at Matt bends down
"I think it's a little lower" Brandon says making Matt bend down even more
"I can't, I have a bad back from a snowboarding accident. Look there's no key, you guys have free
range of the entire hotel how about that?"
"Sounds fabulous" I reply
"Just don't do any freaky shit" Matt then leans over the counter and whispers "without inviting some of the staff"
"Oh who's some of the staff?" Elton asks
"I'm the only one that works here so"
"You want to join us?"
"Yeah if I could could I join you guys?"
"Erm yeah" Elton looks around at all of us
"Do I have to put a shirt on?"
"I think that would be best" I say laughing
"Well it is getting quite hot in here" Brandon wafts his hand by his face
"Maybe we all should just take ourshirts off" Corey jokes
"Yeah I'm good" I cross my arms over my face laughing
"I just watched the ghost adventures episode... completely different to ours"
"Wait theirs didn't start off this way?" Brandon asks frowning while pointing to Matt.
Matt puts his shirt on and we all make our way up the stairs to the main first floor. Elton takes us to the elevator
"Wait is this the elevator?" I ask referring to the elevator that Elisa Lam was in
"This one would be it my friends because the buttons were on the right"
"So you know for sure that this is the one?" Corbin asks pointing to the elevator that Elton is stood in front of
"Yeah because there's only 2 elevators in the whole building. So Elisa Lamb went into this one because the buttons are on the right side. So 100% this is the elevator"
"Why is there only 2 elevators? This place is huge" I frown. Elton just shrugs
"So you're telling me like all that grainy footage and everything we're gonna see the real deal right now?" Corbin smiles out of nervousness
"The camera's probably still up there"
"This is crazy" I breathe out not fully grasping the fact a woman was acting very strangely and then was found in the water towers days later, naked might I add.
After discussing what's happened at the hotel and how sad it was, Elton decides that Matt should be blindfolded and put in the elevator. Elton, Corbin and Brandon take Matt to a random floor while Josh, Corey and I stay by the elevators
"He would just pick 14 wouldn't he" Josh laughs as we watch the number at the top of the elevator stop "14 is where the Elisa Lamb story happened" Josh laughs
"That's good, he works here so yeah he should he should know the area" Corey jokes making me laugh
When the boys all come back down Elton asks us to guess which floor Matt is on
"Well we know he's on 14 because we see it right there" Josh points to the number. You should have seen because we were laughing about it down here we were laughing about it, like he would pick the 14th floor" Josh says pointing between Corey and I.
