Hello, everyone. As the author, I'd like to explain that this book is written from an Islamic perspective on the jinn. The jinn are considered creatures made from a smokeless fire which were given free will as humans were. They have their own familial structures and societies that may or may not coincide with ours. Since the jinn were made from smokeless fire, their lifespan and abilities differ greatly from humans. The jinn are also believed to be divided religiously amongst themselves (i.e. some are considered "believers" since they believe in the concept of God and some do not). This work is not intended to offend anyone or their beliefs. It is a work of fiction and any resemblance to anyone living or otherwise is purely coincidental. With that being said, I truly hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed writing this. - Helena
