Chapter 36 Against Me

I saw one of those Mechs that Roman had used and phased inside its controls, the mechanism wasn't as conflicts as it seemed and I moved it to go run at the Rescue fleets and activated the missiles destroying it causing more panic to the people

Seeing that the mech was now getting the attention of Familiar characters such as Sun, Neptune, and team BRNZ attacking it, I ran the Mech into a building that also is on Brawnz, Roy, May, and Nolans direction then used my semblance to jump inside the building making sure I was not seen

Seeing a dead body of at Atlassian human soldier, I used this chance for a change of disguise

If I was to find Mercury in all of these mess I need to get through without being known to my friends and still contribute to the disaster.

I stored my scythes in a cloth and tied them to my back and picked up the Atlassian gun and ran out the building facing a group of human soldiers

"We need to get these people out of here! Stand your ground-Ack-!!" I stabbed the soldier with the Gun through my semblance and shot the remaining soldiers that asked why as their last words

I dropped the Bloodied gun and picked up another one while letting a Grimm phase through me and it ran to eat the corpse,

Some students such as team CVFY Coco, Velvet, Fox, and Yatsuhashi saw me but was busy with the Robotic Soldiers to stop me as I shot a combustion dust to their direction but wasn't enough to kill them

I then ran on my way to the corners seeing that there were more people coming in and more Mechs to keep them busy

Ren and Nora aimed their weapons at me making me stop on my tracks seeing tha Jaune and Phyrra were not with them

The ground then began to shake and if the legends were true according to Professor Pete's class, A dragon lives high within the abandoned city of Vale

"Why are you doing this?! You were supposed to help us!" Nora asked and Ren shot his guns on me but stopped seeing that it just went through me leaving me unaffected

His weapon wont work but Nora's will, so I tossed a combustion dust and shot it at them then Weiss came just in time to cast a Glyph and sheild them

As the dust settled I was already gone from their sight, Phasing through the Atlas uniform I had already pinpointed where Cinder might be, even if this encounter will break them I had already made up my mind

I went inside the Academy and stood in the hallway looking around letting out a sigh

"How fast time flies..." I said remembering myself walking through these halls just like it was yesterday then letting myself sink through the floor making my eyes glow red as my semblance activates

To the place where the Maiden lies

The fall felt endless and the climb back uo would be just as tiring but with that I have already sensed Jaune and Phyrra with Headmaster Ozpin

"What...? Who-" Jaune stopped seeing the machines and the Maiden

"Mr. Arc, if you'd like to help you can stand by here!" Ozpin ordered Jaune and I came through the corner

"He's not doing it alone..." All of them aimed their weapon at me and placed them down except for Ozpin who wondered how I got in

"Perdita!" Jaune walked up to me confused on why I was here too and I assumed that he doesn't know so I played off him trusting me and it worked seeing that the Headmaster continued on the machine

While me and Jaune stayed on guard and we heard Phyrra scream in agony

"Phyrra!" Jaune ran to the machine but not knowing what to do and Headmaster Ozpin apologized
