S2E1 - RIGHT BACK WHERE WE STARTED

THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY was definitely a force to be reckoned with. But in this case, seven different forces. Five found himself landing in a puddle in a random alleyway between three different buildings. He looked around. None of his siblings were to be found. He waited for the anomaly to zap them out next to him, but none of them came.

"Luther!" He called out to his brother. "Diego! Angel!"

It wasn't uncommon for Five Hargreeves to find himself alone. He made a plan, and it did not work. He felt ashamed, mad, and a little guilty. What if his plan hadn't worked? What if his siblings were stuck in their last timeline and they're obliterated now? In the last season, Five returned home after being missing for 16 years. Now he's a 58-year-old stuck in the body of a 13-year-old. He and his six other remaining siblings fought to survive the apocalypse of 2019. But to what avail? Inside the Icarus Theater, Vanya, sibling number seven, was playing up a storm - no pun intended - when she accidentally exploded the Moon, causing the end of the world. Five decided to jump back in time, this time, taking his siblings with him. This was what caused him to go missing 16 years ago. He had no idea if it would work. It did but to an extent. Long story short, he has no idea where his siblings are now, or if they're even alive.

The ball of lightning zipped itself into non-existence. Gunshots exploded from behind Five as he turned to look for the sound. He followed the alley out to the street, seeing smoking, burning buildings, soldiers shooting away, a tank roaming the streets, and nothing but chaos all around. Two fighter jets roared through the sky, dropping explosives on buildings. Five raced to a newspaper that lay discarded on the ground.

NOV. 25, 1963

"Soviets attack US?" He read allowed. Five stood and continued walking, "No, this can't be right."

On the ground, an American soldier tended to a pedestrian, telling him that he would survive.

"Hey, kid, get down!"

Five looked around the chaos, "What the hell did we do now?"

The tank he stood in front of fired its missile, causing a ringing in Five's ear. Vanya levitated up, holding her hands out to explode it in mid-air. Klaus, who stood just behind her, pushed his arms forward, sending a team of dead American soldiers to take down the Soviets. The ground rumbled as Luther jumped from a top of a building and onto the street, yelling in pain as a missile exploded on his back. Tentacles reached down from one of the buildings and slung soldiers to their deaths.

Allison crept up behind three men. "Hey! I heard a rumor, that I blew your minds."

The men's heads rippled into a dark blue as they melted away. A flash of red circled in the sky as a flying figure smirked down at all of them -- Angel. Her hair whipped in the wind. Her eyes glowered red as a star formed on her chest. She shot a red strike of power at a truck full of men. Angel floated to the ground and smiled at a group of guys before sucking in wind and blowing them into the buildings behind Five. Diego jumped onto the truck, his entourage of Soviet soldiers circling him. They shot at him, but he flipped over the edge of the truck, ricocheting the bullets back to their rightful homes.

"Five! You sick son of a bitch, where the hell have you been?" Diego yelled at the boy.

Five began to march forward when he was stopped by an arm on his shoulder.

"If you wanna live, come with me,"

Five looked up to see a white-haired Hazel.

"Hazel," he sighed, "What the hell's going on here?"
