"You know I hate it when men think they can just play with woman," Stiles said as he and Scott were at the lacrosse field.

"What happened?" Scott asked.

"Lydia. I finally found out why she and Jackson broke up. You know, he blamed her for everything. He blamed Lydia for everything that went wrong. For his identity crisis. The fact that he didn't transform into a werewolf. What kind of man does that? Blame his girlfriend for everything that goes wrong in his life when it started when he was to the kid," Stiles said as Scott looked at his best friend.

"How involved are you going to get, Stiles? Because if I can give my opinion, I think you and Lydia Martin should stay away from each other," Scott said as Stiles was absolutely shocked.

Yes, he knew things were getting a lot more complicated very fast, and with everything they knew about the supernatural creatures lurking around Beacon Hills, it would make sense for Stiles and Lydia to stay away from each other. It would act as protection, but somehow, Stiles felt like Scott meant it in a different way.

"Why? It's not like she's going to hurt me or something," Stiles said.

"You don't know that. Just remember we are not kids anymore. This is high school. And with all of a supernatural danger that we are now facing, I don't know if Lydia getting involved is a good idea," Scott said.

"I will decide about that, not you. I will involve Lydia in as much supernatural stuff as I see fit. Scott, I'm not going to push her away when she's finally letting me in. There's no way," Stiles said.
