Xie lian woke up at 7:30 AM, wondering how he got to his bed since he remembered that he accidentally fell asleep at the couch. he sees a note beside him saying...

Gege, I am back home."

Since xie lian was sick, all he had to do was stay at home and rest all day. But, before resting, he first had to take some medicine!
He lazily walked to the cabinets containing his medicine and takes it. He then goes back to lay on his bed and use his phone to pass the time

Xie lian smiled at his message and shuts off his phone to take a well deserved nap. But then.. he has a strange dream?..

Teenage xie lian was your typical teenager. He has a few friends, not too many though! He went to Haven Highschool, and was definitely popular. Every girl in his school admired him for his looks and personality.
Xie lian walked down the stairs, not too happy to go to school since he was still very sleepy because he stayed up late and didn't sleep until 4 AM in the morning
"Mother, father.." xie lian lazily said before yawning "I'm ready for school.. what's for breakfas-..." Xie lian looked up to the ceiling
He saw his mother and father hanging by a rope on the ceiling while the two of them held hands. The ropes around their necks were tied very tightly, causing blood to drip because of how long they had been hanging up
No wonder xie lian heard some things like.. clattering, glass breaking, yelling, and more last night! It was because of his parents.
"No.. no.. no.. no.. no.. this is all a dream right? No.. I refuse to believe it!" Xie lian ran around until he saw notes written by his father and mother
'Our dearest Xie Lian,
If you see this, it's most likely we are both dead. I am sorry for leaving you so early, my dear, me and your mother love you so much and it also hurt us to leave you. Me and your mother had been going through alot and we couldn't take much any longer. We love you so dearly and you are so special to us. Stay strong, our lovely boy.'
His father's note said.
'My sweetest boy, Xie lian,
Oh my sweet boy, mother is deeply sorry for leaving you so early. You see, me and your father are going through so much.. we've been getting slandered, has a hard time paying bills in time, people wrote articles about us in a bad way.. all the things you can imagine. My sweet boy, mother is so sorry that we both left you so early. I love you okay? Stay strong.'
His mother's note said
He broke down into tears, he can't imagine his mother and father both dead at the same time in the same day. He loved his parents so dearly, yet they had to leave him so early.
Xie lian couldn't skip school today. He needed comfort from his friends. He got into the school bus with red, puffy eyes and sat down where he usually sat at.
Once he reached school, he started running to find both Mu Qing and Feng Xin to vent. He saw his friend group and made his way to where they stood
"Feng xin.. mu qing... My mother and father are.. dead." Xie lian said, forcing the tears in his eyes to not spill
His whole friend group ignored him. Nobody gave a shit about what he had just said. His friend group definitely heard xie lian's words, but still turned a blind eye to their friend about to sob their eyes out
What's even worse was mu qing and feng xin. They just side-eyed at xie lian in a few seconds of silence then continued talking to xie lian's friend group. Paying no mind to xie lian at all
Xie lian woke up, tears falling down his eyes
His dream was so vivid. He felt everything. The pain brought on to him a few years back was back again to destroy his mental health.
"No.. It's okay.. it's okay, xie lian... Everything is under control! Hahaha... Everything is okay.." xie lian crawls into a ball, comforting himself over and over again
Xielian checked his phone, realizing it was 10:33 PM in the night! He slept for a long time... Just then, his doorbell rang
He makes his way to the door, but before opening it, he wiped his tears. The person standing at the door was Hua Cheng! Again...
"San lang? What are you doing here?" Xie lian asked
"Here to take care of you again, gege. I don't wanna leave you while your sick!" Hua cheng walks inside xie lian's house to yet again take care of him
Xie lian sat on the couch and sighed, wondering what he did to deserve someone who would drive an hour away from his office to take care of him while he was sick.
"Here, gege." Hua Cheng said as he sets down the bowl of soup on the coffee table "I'll get a glass of water for you and get your medicine"
Hua cheng walked back to the kitchen and opened the cabinet full of medicine. He then grabbed a glass of water and headed back to the living room to see xie lian slowly eating his food
"Gege, are you feeling much better?" Hua cheng asked with a warm and gentle smile
"Hm..? Oh, yes. I still have a runny nose and is coughing but overall I'm feeling alot better." Xie lian smiled weakly at hua cheng
"That's good to hear, I'll head back to my home now. Make sure to take care of yourself, okay? I'll be visiting to you tomorrow night again to take care of you." Hua cheng said before turning his back and leaving
