We pick up this chapter, hours after where we last left off. With Y/n and Celeste sitting at a table within Celeste's room and having a game of poker while Monokuma was there to act as the dealer for the two as to ensure no side would cheat, despite the two hating the idea of cheating in a friendly game 

So far, Y/n was down not only $300,000, but he was also currently sitting in only a pair of jeans, his bare torso on display for them to see and notice the scars from the Gungnir incident while his shirt, jacket, and mask were neatly resting beside him. 

Celeste on the other hand was surprisingly only missing the blazer from her attire, revealing the sleeveless blouse she had on underneath, the missing article of clothing folded next to her while she had a straight face as she looked towards her cards

How did we get to this scenario, you might be asking? Well let's find out how exactly, shall we? 

30 minutes ago

We start this flashback with a fully dressed Y/n as he placed down a set of cards, a confident look on his face despite being down $150,000

Y/n: "Four of a kind, beat that!" 

Celeste had a small grin on her face as she heard that and looked over at Y/n's cards before looking him in the eyes as her grin grew in size 

Celeste: "Four of a kind, impressive, but as you commoners say, read them and weep" 

Celeste then placed her cards on the table, showing them to be a royal flush, beating Y/n's cards as he sighed in slight annoyance at another loss, yet had a smile on his face and spoke in English this time instead of Japanese

Y/n: "Well fuck me sideways" 

Monokuma was the only one to really understand Y/n as he giggled a little at his reaction while Celeste had raised an eyebrow yet smirked once again as she took the chips to her side and added them to the growing pile 

Celeste: "This is quite fun, don't you think?" 

Y/n: "Yeah, if me losing all my money is fun, then I'm having a grand old time. But yeah, I'm having some fun, even if I keep losing. But I have to say, I'm not feeling that embarrassed yet" 

Monokuma: "Ooh, are you sure-" 

Celeste: "I believe all I asked of you was to act as a dealer, not to talk, bear. So cease that unnecessary and annoying noise coming from your mouth this very moment!" 

Monokuma let out a depressed sigh before shutting up again while Celeste then smiled once more and then turned her sights back to Y/n, an evil glint in her eyes and a teeth-baring grin on her face 

Celeste: "Oh, really? Well I'm glad to know that your pride isn't hurt for losing to a woman, but I was just getting warmed up and seeing how well you play, and I have to say, I'm a little impressed, so I think we can step this up a little, but first, how much more do you have in your account?" 

Y/n: "I'm sitting on about $800,000 in USD" 

Celeste: "And how did you come across this fortune?"

Y/n: "Why do you want to ask?... You a cop?" 

Celeste giggled once more and shook her head to deny the claim 

Celeste: "Not at all, just interested. $800,000 is a lot for a student to have"
