"Come on, one round," Delilah tried.

"No, I need to finish this."

"I can help you finish it after class, we have a break."

"I need that time to finish Binns' essay."

She rolled her eyes.

"You can look at my essay."

"I thought you hadn't finished it yet."

"I haven't, but I am halfway through. You can easily go off of what I wrote, and then the rest will be unique."

Draco sighed.

"Fine, but only one round. I won't have any time over break."

"I'll help you finish before then," Delilah promised.

And so they played a round of Wizards Chess. Of course, Draco won. He was uncannily good at it. She wouldn't have been surprised if he could read minds. He did always seem able to identify her mood.

When they finished Draco went back to his homework and this time Delilah joined him. She probably should work on some of her homework.

She managed to add a few sentences to Binns' boring essay before the bell rang and they were finally free of classes. Sadly they weren't free of homework.

They moved to the library to finish working on their homework. They both managed to finish most of their homework before dinner, though Draco was further ahead.

When dinner was over, they went down to the common room to finish more homework.

After almost an hour, Draco stretched.

"I'm done!" he exclaimed, grinning like a mad man at Delilah.

"Great, can I have a look at your Transfiguration essay?"

He handed it over, and Delilah quickly finished the last bit of her essay.

"Do you want Snape's too? It is pretty nasty."

"Yeah, thanks."

Delilah finished revising his paper onto hers before deciding to call it a night.

"Goodnight," she said to Draco, kissing him before heading to her room and her very comfortable bed.

The next morning Delilah woke up early to see Draco off.

"You sure you don't want to come?" Draco double checked. "You wouldn't be imposing, and I could use the moral support."

Delilah smiled sadly. She wanted to go, but...

"Sorry, I already signed up to stay, and there isn't enough time for me to pack all my things anyway. I'll write though." Delilah smiled, and couldn't resist adding, "Plus, it's only two weeks. I'll be fine. I've meant to explore some parts of the castle anyway."

Oh how wrong she was.

She finished her homework that day, and when she finished she didn't know what to do.

She tried to explore the castle and search for some secret passageways, but when Mrs. Norris started following her, Delilah hurried outside, not really knowing where she was going.

With Mrs. Norris watching from a window, Delilah saw smoke coming from Hagrid's hut and decided to head down.

She hesitated before knocking. A few moments later, Hagrid replied, "Come in."She knocked on the door, she heard Fang bark, but no one replied.

"Hagrid? Are you in there?" Delilah hesitantly called out. She heard someone moving.

"Is tha' you Delilah?" Hagrid replied, sounding surprised.
